Also, Poison looks stronger than it is. Let's say you got 30k over 15 seconds. That's 2k per second. Regardless of how often you attack. But if I have got a 2k Freezing arrow at 9 or 10 frames that's way more damage per second and that's what counts.

I do have a Poison / Lightning Zon but she I like her a lot less for any runs that this build. This one is one of my all time top 5 MF builds. Both in terms of strength and being fun to play.

hmm as i thought u dont deal enuff damage, i just did a chaos sanct in hell with the zon currently lvl 67 and it took alot of work

im using pretty much listed gear cept enigma and when i find ice
my lf dmg is around 1.3k

Level 67 in Act 4 Hell is hardly a fair test of a build. I'm usually in the high 70s by that time. Perhaps a few more skill points to spend will improve you damage. :wink3:
 
well im almost 80 now where i intend to start mf with a friend lets hope i can clear wsk

the damage and effeciency wasnt as low as i intended

right now i finished LF and CS and FA, spending rest of points in cold arrow for synergie

the extra skill points increase dmg by 1% so wont make too much difference

i think lf just nots trong enuff

sorry for double post

started the mf runs imo not efficient enuff, alot of times i have to stock on mana pots, recharge titans, buy arrows and killing speed not fast enuff

imma test my hammerdin in wsk

If your point is that a Enigmadin is faster, yes offcourse. The same for a good blizzard sorc.

It's not supposed to be better/faster than the existing cookiebutter builds.

Also this isn't a Baal/Throne room runner. Your goal is to clear wsk 2 and 3, then the throne room and baal.

This guide/build is definately also for the WSK :wink3:

Most MF runs are best done solo, going online with friends or increasing the players settings make the monsters more tough and the runs more difficult / slow.

The build can handle baal and the throne room perfectly fine. My main point for clearing the keep entirely is that the very rare TC87 items will likely drop in the keep itself rather than from baal so I see no point in skipping it. Baal is more like the sparkly chest in the pits. You take it because it's there. Not because it is the main reason for the run.

That said, depending on how well one is able to use the char, mileage may vary.
 
Excellent guide, it put the fun back into my Amazon for me.

On the spare skills you will have, I decided to spend them in a synergy of Charged Strike since the 10% extra damage is nice and speeds up boss killing slightly. Even on hell ancients I did not miss decoy that much.

It is my fastest p1 Pit Runner as well now, it does very well there since the only Lightning Immunes you meet in pits (except an occasional boss) are them archers, and those you really want to freeze since they can be trouble.

My mercenary still dies of gloams at times (I guess he needs better gear). The key to killing baal really is the slow from knelpie (and a tp at times to make sure the mercenary actually attacks baal).

Sorry to bump this, but I've just started one of these and was wondering how you fared in the early levels. Mine is lvl14, but I only have 1 point jab/p jav l bolt as prereqs for later skills, I'm in the sewers, and can't really kill anything, and my act 4 merc dies to any pack of archers.

Basically, any tips for the low levels, as well as gear that might help??

Power strike (only one point here though) then charged strike would be my advice, CS rock when leveling until you get LF (and perhaps until your LF is powerful enough).
Turn on p8 and get some more experience in act1 would also be a good idea IMO (tristram runs, countessruns and later on catacombs + andy).

Get an act2 defensive merc and give him a polearm/spear with as big damage as possible, they help a lot.
You can try the recepie for a savage polearm ( 66-80% enhanced damage) in the cube aswell, one diamond of any type, any belt, a staff and a kris and transmute.

Ith El Eth - fantasitc runeword, especially for a moron who doesn't get hit with the drain life penalty.
 
I think a buriza will feel too slow. I tried it for a short while but switched back to a bow.

I use a shaeled wizendraw for Hell. Before that i used lycanders aim.
 
Hmm, May I ask, Would Spirit be a better shield than Stormshield? And if not, Why?

And how should I divide the Stat Points?
