So if i take Grief damage and i multiply that with the ed from skill, masterie and off weapon ed, i get the following results:
Example:
Grief damage = 400
Skill and masterie = 400 ed
If i use botd i add 400 ed i get a total of 800 ed on grief.
If i use Beast i add base ed and aura ed (270+186), i get a total of 856 ed.
Is this the way to do it? If yes then Beast+Grief would do more damage.
but in Arreats it states that you hit with one weapon once and then with the other, Beast damage is futile to the damage botd does therefore for better avarage damage isn't botd+grief better since there is only a 60 ed difference on one hit but a much bigger damage difference on the other?
For Grief's damage, you add 400 to the base average damage of grief (47.5), then multiply that with ed+str, so that 1 str=1 ed, also you should add the damage from aura, so that with this setup, assuming ~200 str, you would have:
447.5*8.86=3964.85
As for botd, it's easily calculatable. Base berserker axe average damage times ethereal bonus, ed on ebotdz, str. With 200 str, 415% ed, you would get this:
47.5*1.5*5.15*7=2568.5625.
As for the different setups, I do not really know which does more, but I could guess that over time, beast+grief does more, because of the Fanatiscm aura, the str on beast, and the ow on beast.
And no, you do _not_ multiply any weapon damage with Edmg% found from other weapons, since those mods do not transfer over to the other weapon.
