Re: Green with Envy II Tournament
Morathi, thanks for the answers before, and sorry if I were being too nitpicking. I'm considering to join this tournament, I just need to decide on a character build.
After reading what Insane Wayne said, that he had to put points into dexterity to accommodate a set bow he found, one more thing araised into my mind, and I hope this one is quite valid one to ask:
1) In the case an item slot or multiple item slots had to be left empty because of the requirements of the set items found so far, is it required to allocate status points (Str, Dex) towards the set set items' requirements?
1.1) For example, if I wanted to go base strength and dexterity and wanted to put all of my status points into vitality, is this allowed, even if it means I would have to leave item slots empty because of the requirements? (yes I actually might consider to go all Vit)
Two more examples:
1.2) I don't have any set weapons yet. I find a set weapon which would require me to put 5 more stat points into Str in order to equip it, do I have to do so even if I wouldn't necessarily want to equip that set item?
And finally, this question is valid only if the answer to the previous question is yes:
1.3) I'm level 75, and am very unlikely to gain any more levels before my character either dies or reaches Guardian. I have 10 status points saved. I have not found any set belt so far, so belt slot is empty. Then I find a heavy-ish set belt that would require me to put 20 stat points into Str in order to be able to equip it. Do I have to put the 10 saved stat points into Str even though I would know I would not be able to gain 2 more levels to get the remaining 10 points into Str?
