I decided to go green, once again. My first green character was a Fire Druid, and I really enjoyed a successful run with him in the original tournament. This time I will try a different fiery character.
Introducing Pepper, the tempermental Fire Sorceress. Her temper quickly surfaced when she encountered an early Fire Immune, and angrily bashed his skull with her staff. Pepper started out with 10 quick points in Fire Bolt, which worked just fine. The next 12 points went to Fireball (boosted to 15 with a shopped white staff). Just about everything is a 1-2 hit kill, even at p8. Yay fireball! (So that's what those stupid vamps have been firing at me all these years!) Next I opened up TK, Tele, and Meteor's prereqs. I think I'll focus on Meteor for a while. Hmmm... my experience with Meteor includes charges on Moonfall, ctc on Skystrike, a wacky Wirt's Leg imbue, and that's about it! So this should be fun. :smiley:
Acts 1 and 2 have been p8 full-cleared. Pepper is resting in Kurast. My green count is 4: Berserker's Helm, Arctic Belt, the Case, and the Seal. Incredibly, I've yet to see a unique, which is a record starting-game drought for me. All gambling attempts have focused on MF, namely Arctic Furs/Mitts (to go with the belt), without success. My green druid had 60% MF at this point. Poor Pepper is stuck at 0%.
My moron, Fazel the Prayer merc, is equipped with an eth poleaxe (which he rarely gets to use). He's more or less a walking minor healer.

23 jewels, only 1 of them is green (Tin) :tongue:
Tidbits:
1. Treehead nailed by Fire Shrine.
2. Disappointment after clicking a Monster Shrine right next to a Hawk Nest. It didn't transform into an uber boss-nest, which wasted the shrine! Grrr...
3. Pepper flattened a trio of Cloister-rogues with a well-placed fireball, and each of them dropped a chipped sapphire simultaneously. Weird!
4. Pepper's streak of avoiding Amp ended when she walked through a mummy boss poison cloud, late in Act 2.
5. Scored a Shimmering (10) Grand Charm, ilvl 14, what a nice early gift!
