I called you prejudice since you used the term "14 year old Korean" as a general statement. Not "I've played and lost to one 14 year old Korean, 2 27 year old Koreans, 3 16 year old Koreans blah blah..".
I could not care less if you're jealous or not but it was immature to put it like you did, very condescending, like all progamer Koreans would be 14 years old
You thought of me as a thorn in the side, great, but I've still countered all your argument and got my message through with facts - Broodwar is ALOT harder to master than Warcraft 3.
Oh, I'm prejudiced because I used a descriptive term? Your grasp of the English language is slipping, Inu. Go and look up the word prejudice "child," (as you so entertainingly insulted both myself and other poster) before engaging me in a battle of semantics. Go look up auxiliary while you're at it. The only message we've all gotten is that when you don't get your way, you resort to name calling and race baiting. I think that message has gotten through loud and clear, looking at the posts that followed mine.
You are the one talking about "Mastering" the game. I said "to play." I asked my VIETNAMESE (ooo! I'm being teh racist!!!one!111), KOREAN, JAPANESE, JEWISH, ECUADORIAN/SWEDISH, AFRICAN-AMERICAN, and GENERIC ATHEIST WHITE BOY friends what they thought about BW vs TFT. The consensus was that TFT was harder to play. Not master. So, I win, since I have more people or something.
And what the heck is this extreme pride in mastering a video game? Is it even on the same scale as being an actor, or even world-champion MTG player (which one of my friends is)? You are mastering something that is done for fun and enjoyment. I'd be more impressed if that same guy mastered the art of tetrad dissection or flawless canula insertion. You know, useful skills. At the end of the day, a highly paid gamer is just someone very good at moving a mouse and watching pixels, not someone who can think well or someone who will ever make a contribution to real life beyond games. Sad. I'll take a mediocre gamer who will change the world any day.
As much as I'd love to engage further in this battle of wits, or whatever, I think I'm going to hit the report post button a few times and go on my merry way.
