GoMule for D2 Resurrected

I'm a little confused by what you mean by a D2R HC Classic Character. my definition of a classic character being one played in 1.14 or earlier. You can move these classic characters from the earlier versions of Diablo to D2R, but you can't move them back. So, you either have a D2R character or a classic character whether HC or SC. Also, once you move an item from 1.14 or earlier to D2R you can't move it back.

By Classic I mean non-LoD, or pre expansion. It's still D2R.
 
Ran into a disconnect issue with gomule and isolated it to this belt. Never had this happen before but I've heard it can happen. Any particular reason it's this item, and is it worth knowing more about it for a potential fix? I still have it on a mule.

I've tried to transfer the horadic cube but it seems to be stuck in the clipboard..

Had some issues with Occulus on one of my char. I gave the char occulus and Spirit Monarch, but she did not have enough strength to wear it. On character screen i could see her wielding the occulus, but once i loaded into game it was nowhere to be seen. I thought none of it and took another from a stash, but after playing for some time, this particular character no longer is loadable in gomule, it says character is disconnected, so i have a hunch it has something to do with the dissapearing occulus.

Edit: Never mind, i had scroll of inifuss in cube, i bet that what caused the problem as as soon as it was used, i could access the character again.

When I do a text dump in GoMule both Assassins and Druids do not provide a list of the skills, but the other 5 Classes do. I suspect that this is a D2R issue.
 
Last night I played current version of D2R no issues with it or GoMule. I also have the latest version of GoMule installed and its the only one I ever had. I started using it a week ago.

Today when I loaded up the Bliz launcher, for some reason I had to point it to the D2R installation directory because It was giving me the install option. Ater that, when I loaded up D2R, it acted like it was a first time load and went through the setup again. Then I noticed my offline character was missing and all other offline characters would fail to load.

After that I opened up GoMule to find I was getting the disconnected error for my offline character and my shared stash. Super bummed, missing some high level runes and runewords.

Shared stash error:

Any idea what is going on? Unfortunately the last backups are a week old, but they do load in both the game and GoMule.
Everything is current available version as of 10/31/2024, was there possibly a minor patch today for D2R?

EDIT: Looks like computer must have crashed and corrupted that char plus the shared stash.

@kboone00 Yes a computer crash can wipe out characters. Your lucky you only had to go back a week. When it happened to me I lost about a month and 10% experience on a level 98 character.

@Faust19 I suspect that GoMule's problem is with the 100% chance to not consume Quantity. I can find no discussion of this attribute and suspect that this is from a mod.
 
Did GoMule ever get updated to the point where it isn't necessary to manually cycle EVERY SINGLE ITEM through the in-game shared stash after every patch? I had really been enjoying returning to the game with D2R, but gave up after having to deal with that a couple times.

It's more the other way around, D2R hasn't gotten any updates that change the item format for 2 years now or so I think. I think it's unlikely that future updates (if there are any) will break GoMule again.
 
Has anyone else noticed that weapon damage shown in GoMule is way off. I only wish this were the case!

Hello all,

Happy holidays and happy new year.

Its been quite a while and I'm looking at picking up my chars again. I have a GoMule download for patch 2.6 (file "GoMuleR4.4.17-BETA_Resurrected_2.6.zip"). What GoMule download do I need for patch 2.8.0 season 9, and what are the steps for migrating my items to the latest GoMule version. I have not logged into my chars yet as I don't want to upgrade them before getting an opportunity to do a proper migration. Thank you.

Just download the latest GoMule and unzip it into somewhere different location. Then copy/paste "Projects" folder from the old GoMule into the new folder and you should be ok.

So I don't have to do any manual migration of items? Was the UI glitches fixed? I just opened the old GoMule and encountered it, where parts of the UI is erroneously drawn and it overlaps multiple times.
