Unless I miss-read this, you're viewing this from a different point of view than me, one where the mafia IS the watcher role. Then no you'd have no reason to claim at all. However looking at it from a potential mafia claiming a killed role, to try and fit in as a "confirmed" townie... then your whole argument above falls apart (imo).

Besides the whole "I watched someone last night... but I won't reveal the info yet" thing is basically you saying you tracked someone, and they weren't visiting anyone. Well actually I might be jumping a bit to conclusions here, but until you prove me otherwise, that's how I view it.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be delighted if you got a result that lead to mafia being lynched! But until that happens, I will remain skeptical, and point out stuff which I think looks suspicious.

If I was mafia claiming a watcher role trying to fit in as a "confirmed" townie then instead of being elusive and not trying to give out information, wouldn't it make sense to give out some information? I mean, if I'm mafia, then one would presume that mafia probably have some powers. I could have one of them target me if it's not a lethal ability have me watch myself and give the other mafia the opportunity to fake claim some positive town aligned ability and we could start messing things up, but what actually happened? ... exactly.

You have the results from N1 and N2 and a partial on N3. Nothing useful came from it except the whole not able to use that ability on Goryani thing which is interesting but I don't know how useful it is other than suggesting he was commuted or is otherwise investigation immune somehow.

Sounds a lot like a high risk high reward play, would mafia be willing to play that card, and risk outing 2-3 mafia? Maybe... or maybe not? The way I see it, my point is still valid.

Besides if you're faking a claim, you don't actually have any information to give out, so your current tactics of not really revealing anything that can be counter-claimed... well it would fit perfectly for someone who doesn't have any information to give doesn't it? Besides there's always the option of throwing a mafia buddy under the bus at some point down the road if people start questioning your claim even more than now, so you can give some valuable information to solidify your claim.

If you really are town though, and one way or another we will find out, then I feel your frustration. I've been in a similar situation before, and it almost made me scream. >_>

I almost want to suggest that you roll a dice to decide if you want to target me tonight and I'll watch myself and tell you if you did. That would give you a pretty darn good indication of my claim. But seriously, do we really want to do such a thing and waste the opportunity to get useful information? Ugh.... If there is popular support for it, then I can do that I guess.

Have I missed something? How do you even know korial have some ability, that he can target you with? :ponder:
