Good point! Well, ok then, if any townie wants to target me, then I can watch myself and then report who targeted me... there, I think that will work unless I missed something else lol!

I feel your frustration, but I think there are better ways to go about it, as has already been pointed out.

My first thought as well.
The problem then would be that this require us to give up another power rule to confirm you. And we can't trust the person to target you to be town, because we don't know if mafia has a non-violent power either, which rules out gaining 2 confirmed power roles. I'd much rather be content with being suspicious of you, until you provide any actual usefull data for us to work with.
Interesting. Any info about elite status?

Edit to above: Also your method still doesn't rule out the possibility of you and whoever "targets" you to be mafia, and using this to try and confirm you. So in the end you're not even confirmed, at least until we can find a way to say for certain that whoever targeted you is town.

If you are town Zokar, then look at it this way: If nothing else my poking got some reactions out of you, which not only I, but the rest of the town can work with.

Quick question to anyone who knows: Is there a way to see all the posts a person has made in 1 particular thread?

Bodyguards can either die directly or from saving their target. A mafia bodyguard would probably save one of their own. A non-elite mafia bodyguard might leave a killer alive who knows the identity of the likely-mafioso CG tried to protect. Any killer have their target switched on N2?
Also, presence of a mafia bodyguard would present STRONG indications as to the powers of the non-mafia. And those powers include the ability to kill mafia during the night. What conclusion would those mafia come to? SK fustercluck? Mental note to look at those players.

Yes, top of the thread is a "Search Thread" link. Click on it and then it opens a box, click on the Adv. Search link in that box. In the resulting page, enter the user name in the appropriate box and there ya go.

Sorry I'm late to the party guys. I've only done a quick read through the thread, but as of right now I don't see any reason not to trust FoEs claim, however since CG is one vote away from a lock I'm going to refrain from voting for the time being since we have more than a day left. As for my claim, I am Hestia. I'm going to go back and reread todays posts as soon as I can and post some of my thoughts but it probably won't be until later on after work as its going to be a busy day today.

+1 Gory. I didn't even realize until now that the role FoE revealed is a strong indication of night killers besides mafia being out there.

If you go back to the D2 Community Forum, next to the thread you will have the number of posts and views. You can then click on the number of posts and it will show you how many posts one has made.
If you want to see all of the posts of one specific person, click on the number to the right of their name and it should display all of them.

There is no in game connection between us (mason, mafia, lovers, etc). It appears we are from the same genre - a genre not entirely meshing with most of the other players - but I don't yet understand the significance of that (or even if it's true). Since I saw my role, I wasn't surprised to see other characters from the Hercules/Xena TV shows.

Thanks, but it's basically the same as doing advanced search for Moar's username. Also it doesn't show the entire post, just tidbits, alongside all other recent posts by Moar.
@Moar: In case you're wondering why I'm trying to do this, it is because of my statement earlier about re-reading. Instead of going through all the pages, it would be neat being only able to view your posts. Anyhow the intent is to double check what you said earlier, and to figure out if I've miss-quoted you (so to speak). And if that's the case, I apologize in advance.
Call me confused. Which role are you? Is there a mistake in post 619? If so, can you re-post 619 with the mistakes corrected?
And if you click on the link above that tidbit it takes you directly to the actual post. It would be better to have a "more" or "expand" link at the end of each tidbit to show the entire post inline... but it's what we have *shrugs*

I can re-post it if you like, but there was no mistake when I made that post. Before the game started, I was told that I'm Hercules. After I claimed, I recieved a new PM informing me of the mistake, and telling me that I am indeed Heracles. But for simplicities sake I will answer to both names.
Before you ask, TC will not fonfirm nor deny this. But I figured it would be safe to correct myself after I was informed of the mistake. I claimed Hercules at first, even though it is the Roman name, on the off chance someone else had recieved Heracles. Once I recieved the PM informing me of the mistake, I weighed the options of revealing my role as Heracles, or rolling with Hercules. In the end I decided that doing a reveal 2.0 would be best, that way you get my correct role name, and hopefully we could avoid arguing over if I was fake claiming or not, considering Hercules is the Roman, not the Greek name.
Aye it's better than nothing I agree. I also noticed the "more" link, but was hoping for something that would allow me to filter out all of Moar's posts not made in this thread, and present it in a "in-thread" sort of view, with the entire posts, sorted by time/date.
Btw going back and looking over Moar's posts, I also found this at the beginning of day 2.
I've never been in a game where this has happened. Is it safe to assume that at least one of those who died was scum?
Not sure what to make of it, if there is anything to make out of the post. But in case CG is mafia, I found this kinda interesting? I dunno.
