Scum is as scum does and you're doing as scum want to do. Moar's answer of yes or no would help you determine how much of a threat she is to your team. Would it be a good idea for all townie power roles like scientist/inventor to claim on D1 to help the town narrow down possible scum? NO!
Context is why I think it's scummy. You were wondering if Sathoris voted but didn't give a reason because he was an investigative role that received damning evidence. You wanted Sathoris to confirm/deny that hunch.
Mafia benefit from fishing for role information. You were fishing for role information. A townie doesn't try to find out that type of information so early.
And yes, rolefishing is a bad thing to do. Malevolent was lynched early for 3?4? games in a row for doing exactly that. I think he was actual scum for all but one of those games.
/shrug. It's either a lie, a stretching of the truth (just because a hitman obtains the role of the killed doesn't mean hitman is an informational role) or it isn't a standard informational role.
That's why I didn't make a case for Zokar when I first voted. If someone also thought Zokar was scummy and pointed out reasons I kept hidden, it's a pretty solid bet that someone is townie.
I like the fishing there. Also one thing you didn't mention is a number of Primordial Diety's are more evil than others.
Nyx is the mother of death for example and Tartarus is hell.
The thing I don't like about your claim is you had no real evidence of anything at all. It feels like it was a role claim in an attempt to save yourself.
If Zokar flips scum, I would not think he would call out his scum buddy on such an off topic post on D1 in case someone saw truth in it.
Zokar: Your performance yesterday does say scum to me. Your claim also says scum to me. i highlighted your last sentence up there, yet you are not actually doing that. You gave us Gory results, but left out what you did N1. You also left out what you were looking for! Why is that? To me (and Kegs already picked this up), it feels like you are scum faking a claim, only giving as much information as you have to. Then you wait for a reaction, which gives you time to come up with more "results." You are careful not to give too much information for when you do get lynched.
You didn't really answer my question.
Why did you claim today?
What benefit does this give the town?
Lynches are normally followed by alignment and often role reveal. Not providing those would make it near impossible for town to win.
How does not revealing them upon NK differ?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the goal is to lynch scum. Testing can't take place unless we've given up on lynching scum. Unless you think Moar IS scum. But if so, why not make a case or at least a vote?
Revealing all alignment/roles upon death is a little unbalanced, as we saw in the cheers game. It gave the mafia nothing to hide behind (fake claims) and allowing the town to know which power roles were killed off - which could allow for very easy connection to determine who was investigated as innocent or guilty or whatever else.
I am pretty sure I made a case. Testing either needs to be done or doesn't. That was my point .

The other non bomb option is lightning rod but I am not sure that makes sense?
I have had un investigative roles before. And k think scum gory is dangerous and my vote reflects that after moars post about her role

I did mention that before in one of my earlier posts... it was not the most appropriate time to claim. However, as I said before, I don't like coincidences... not able to target him and then an immediate vote on me is enough for me to vote for him. But, I should have waited both on the claim and on the vote and waited it out to see where he was going. A mistake I'll remember.
Next time I'll withhold until I have something definitive then.
I addressed your first question a number of times already. As for the second, information, though to be fair it wasn't worth it.
Guess I'll cast my vote as well.

Lightning rod would only reflect one kill I think. Unless maybe LR + Bomb, but that's really a stretch to believe.
hmm... I wonder if this is another game where TC is a lynchable character. I think he was in the Saw game IIRC.
Or they're conspiring with you...

First of all, my methods are not meant to convince you or others of the "co-conspirator's" alignment. I want to know their alignment.
Second, if I were conspiring with someone to convince the rest of the players how townie the "co-conspirator" is, I would think that "co-conspirator" would have participated in the discussion. I didn't see anyone participate. Did you?

You're not really providing me any reason not to vote you. You haven't provided your actual name (other than the fact you are a Primodial Diety), this makes me believe you are stealing a Role / Name from a Dead Townie and are worried about being found out by a coroner. You haven't really explained your role other than "it is an information role", thus we can't really determin if "Can't be targeted is an expected response.
I am always suspect when people give out part role claims. It feels like they are worried about being found out, so they give out as little information as possible.

You and Gory are both scum.
