OK, I think we should figure out how everything stands. My summary looks like this:
DK
BPC - no flip
Drixx - noflip
Modkill
Leo - town dragoon
Vorle - town squire
Lynch
Gory - town squire
NK
CG - no flip
Pyro - no flip
Valhauros - no flip
Crawling Deadman - no flip
Killed in End of Day Post

Does somebody care to verify I have my facts straight?
There are three guaranteed dead townies. Now if we make an assumption that maybe half of the seven other dead players were town then that would bring the total dead townies to 6 or 7. Of course that's just a guess.
Given that 11 of the original 21 are still playing, that means roughly half of the original total group of players have been eliminated. If my guess holds true then the number of town people killed would represent over half of those who are dead, or over 1/4 of the original total group of players.
What percentage of the starting group of players would have been town? I have only played one game before so I'm not really sure how ratios usually work. Obviously we'll only be able to guess, but I'm just trying to get my head around the current lay of the land.
Also, do you guys have any suggestions about a better way to think of things?

It's been my experience that ~20%-25% of the field is scum, with there generally being a couple neutrals. I don't know how neutrals really calculate into the whole thing, but I'd assume 5 scum just to be certain honestly, to start, and we have no idea how many are left because there are 3 kills that could have been killed by either scum or town vig shots.

Actually, AAA, I"m not really certain of the general thrust of your train of thought. You spelled out the information we now have(although you should have included the claims people made yesterday in your summary), but I'm not sure what you're saying exactly?

Yeah, Chemist is extremely likely. In fact, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a Chemist. It's one of the 2 base classes that all others are built upon (Squire for warriors, Chemists for mages). IWantToUseNumbers is right, FFT Chemists were a purely beneficial support job. Later though, they could equip guns that shoot magic! Technomancy ftw!
I can't remember if Chemists were in FF3j, but they were in FF5. In that game, they were still mostly a support job, but they could use items to hurt enemies, including poison. It's possible I suppose, but it didn't really occur to me.

Well, I said I wouldn't claim until Gory was dead...
My name is Templeton. I'm a Dancer, Town, and I had a 1 shot ability called Nameless Dance. It was a night action that had a 50% chance of disrupting each anti-town action taken the night it was used. I used it on N1, but it apparently didn't stop any kills. I don't know if anything was stopped at all, I didn't get any feedback. After that, I haven't had anything special to do.
The nature of it led me to the conclusion that mafia must have multiple things it can do at night, so I figure they are all or mostly PRs. Since we obviously have 2 killing factions, the wording of the ability makes me think they are both anti-town, otherwise, I would think it would have just said mafia instead of anti-town.

Ahh, ninja'd me! Like I said in my post, when I voted for Gory (bottom of #421), I said I wasn't gonna claim while he was still alive.
To be honest I think I am the most suspicious of Techno and BA. Techno because of this post (particularly in relation to me). He states
"I haven't had any scum read from JCakes, so I'm leaning toward believing his claim." I don't think I've posted enough for anyone to really have a read on me in either direction. It feels to me an attempt to get close to someone that he knows is town for more town cred. The other bit that strikes me somewhat is the comment about BA "I've been on the fence about BA, but the Squire read from JCakes lends some credibility." The Squire read in no way shows BA to be town, in fact I think it is very likely there are some mafia squires around. Finally no claim yesterday while posting quite a bit and querying who my N1 target was (Frod did this as well) raises some alarms. Also he capatilises the C in Jcakes which is an obv scum tell.

:Alrighty. What things you have posted didn't give me any negative vibes. I said why I wasn't claiming in the very post you quoted. I also said I think most or all of the mafia are PRs given the nature of my power, particularly since I only got one power and one shot. It would be kinda lame otherwise.
Well Gory didn't do himself any favors that's for sure. Being lynched as a tight lipped vanilla does very little good and I have no idea why he didn't claim at some point (other than not being around of course).
I am leaning towards voting for Moar, but don't think we need that many on her this quickly. I would be shocked if there wasn't at least 1 scum on the gory train.
Interesting that we are back to one kill tonight, it makes me think some mafia have been killed via crossfire of some sort with all of these deaths. Wether or not that's two mafia groups, vigilantes or SK, IDK , but it's just a hunch.

My thing about numbers didn't have anything to do with Moar. I just started trying to figure out where things stand given the slew of deaths to this point.
I was asking for an explanation about the Moar vote because lots of things are being said in discussions and I was hoping for a succinct summary. I was pretty shocked with the suddenness of the Day Kills of BPC and Drixx but I haven't yet been able to make sense of that or really figure out a voting strategy of which I am confident.
This is an interesting post. I agree with Squire not being a freebie for town (when has the generic town role ever been given a free pass?), but has anyone posted enough to have strong reads in any direction on anyone? That's what peaked me is you intentionally saying that you are trying to fly under the radar.
This game has been VERY slow and it is absolutely hurting the town. We've had one lynch for crying out loud.

The only other time I've played this game I was on the mafia team so this time around I've just really not known what to do. I'm trying to see if summarizing information would help me to understand things a bit more.
I started making the summary for myself but I decided to post it here to check if things are right, get some feedback, and contribute more to the general discussion.
Are you surprised there hasn't been more day kills?
Until someone convinces me otherwise Moar is the current lynch candidate, but I am kind of surprised there haven't been more day kills after that random flurry of them. I can't tell if this give Moar..more credibility or less.
