FB's Weekly Top 5
This weeks poll is another easy one. Everyone should have their own opinions on this one. This is for Hell difficulty only.
Which Hell boss is the biggest pain in the %$#@?
Andariel
She can pack a punch. She has a hell of a poison attack and weaker characters, especially melee characters (because you have to get close) are open to that early in the game. She has a ton of monsters in her den with her. I am not sure how she walks on those legs either, or sits on that chair, for that matter! She can take you out if you have low life or if you have low poison resist. Not to mention that you have to travel a long way to get to her.
Duriel
This is one hell of a bug. This guy can freeze you and take you out pretty fast. One hit can take half your life. If you have a merc, you can try to use him as a decoy, but the Amazon's Valk probably has the biggest advantage here. She has a good amount of life. Duriel is hard to take out. He has plenty of hit points and if you don't get out of his way...
Why don't I ever hear of anyone running Duriel?
Mephisto
This guy can also take you out with many varied attacks. The walk there isn't easy either, with those damn little Stygian Dolls who can gang up on you and also take half your life with one hit. Meph is surrounded by a few harder minions and floats around whispering to you. "You're too late"! Yeah, take this you...
Diablo
The games namesake. This dinosaur has a few attacks that are dangerous to zons, sorcs, and other characters who usually prance around with lower life. His hit points are many and he can kill most characters without blinking an eye. It is difficult to get to him. The monsters in the five seals can give you some trouble, too.
Baal
The boss with the most hit points. If you read the Pat, Mat, and Guardian threads, people usually say something like "well, it took 15 minutes of continous pounding, but I finally did him in". Baal's minions are especially difficult. Hopefully you cleared the area before taking on the minions. Then you can pound on him for 15 minutes. That isn't out of the ordinary. And if he duplicates himself, well...
