They do chicken, but if you hit them hard enough it usually works, get them with the boss corpse.

What was the pkers name? I joined a game last night, first one there other than the bot. 2 other ppl come in and both hostile ME right away. Now anyone who has done this more than once should know the difference between a bot and user by character name. I just left the game.
Just a few minutes later i joined another game, again first one there other than the bot, cleared eld and shenk. The same 2 ppl who went hostile on me earlier joined this game and did the same thing. At this point im pretty pissed and figure they are going to try and pk me so ill stand my ground. Im standing at the frigid wp and just let loose with a stream of Lighting across the wp. First one through was one of the other 2 players, died almost instantly. Next came the bot, killed him. Then whoever i killed first kept trying to come back, and i kept the lighting going. They died several more times before leaving the game. Was it you Squiggle?
Another reason i posted this was to ask a question.
If you join a game and there is someone else already there, do you let them kill the bot since they were there first?

If it bothers you just leave and move on to next bot. There's plenty for everyone. I mean, I come across others fairly often, but still only about 5% of the time or so.
Some of them seem to be changing a bit, but it's hardly universal. I had one chicken the moment I hosted him yesterday. I was like, oh don't give me this crap, but he was the only one I've come across that did that. Could have been bad timing. I've noticed every once in a while they chicken at one hit, like if merc hits them or something. Might be they don't have any juvs left or something, idk, because it doesn't seem consistent.
If the guys ARE changing their bots, it means we're pissing them off, so, keep up the good work!:thumbsup:
I dont care if someone wants to help kill or be the one who kills the bot. I just dont see why someone would come in a game and go hostile on everyone.
Also as far as them "chickening" i have had several do it but all in different ways, some dont come to act 5 when hostile.

a succesful weekend of bot hunting here, with well over 50 ears ...
a few idle thoughts.
* every game i enter i hostile whoever is in game very first thing, Im not interested in killing real players, just eager for the kill and usually a polite 'lol' is usffice for me to leave. Others have hostiled me in the same manner. The universal 'lol' solves all. Bots don't say LOL, humans do.
* i have seen and been into a lot of games, mostly with these titles.

one of the games i found was called 'pcomb 4io'
and i had people coming in offering io rune for pcomb :smiley:
* whilst the vast majority go trav, eld and shenk I have seen them in Nilh's temple a few times too.
* ive seen them leave after 1 hit and leave after being hostiled.
* my merc and shadowmaster would die about 1 in 10 runs apiece, so the hammers really didn't do a lot to them either
* im sick of seeing that jade figurine drop at trav
* they cant be frozen.

Saw someone earlier using the bot to get xp. Most will accept party invites, so i guess it could be a slower alternative to gaing xp, but at least the killer has good mf.
Speaking of mfing these games, one of elds minions dropped the best item yet, a 177 psn sc. Last ladder best i got was 50 psn, so far 2 100's and now this...

It's good to see everyone venting their frustration with bots on a worthwhile cause!
One thing that worries me though is that eventually someone may try to come up with a PK bot. While it will clearly lose out on strategy and will get stuck in funny places, it will have godly accuracy and reaction time. Imagine teleporting, releasing one hammer and teleporting away in exactly 27 frames. Or an Assasin who never fails to namelock her Mind Blasts. Scary.

I ALMOST got CCCP-Power (the 98, soon 99 paladin on EUROPE)
I noticed this guy had a very bot-like behaviour and i had to make sure of that and went to the obvious areas like Travincal and... CS where i managed to pick a Verdungo belt off him (off Diablo)rop:
Then he went off to Frigid Highlands but i was too slow and he left the game...
I'll get him next for sure, I know his pattern now.

BTW, the CCCP-group is a part of SkalBAP (bots and programs) channel, seems all of them use bots. I've seen them do baals and chaos.

sure. i have recently become adicted to gambling and need a way to get some cash. what do you fo to find those bots? just search different games until you find them, or do the create/join specific games?

I still have to figure most of the things they wear...we know for sure shako, wizzy and t-gods, and the cannot be frozen probably come from a raven. But the armor? It doesn't looks like Guardian angel. Viper perhaps?

for those who are looking for games, look back through this thread and most of my kill pics have the game names showing on them. that will help give you an idea of what to look for. also i listed the pics by bot name, so you have an idea of who is a bot.
