lol .. i was so stoked to go bot hunting with my fishymancer, i don't know what i was thinking, but i ran straight into his hammerfield on the steps below frigid. pwnt.

play the bot like you would any thing else with the summonmancer .. take it slow, CE from outside of the hammerfield, and let the skellies/revives do their thing.

Alright I'll give it a shot this weekend. Cause when I was trying to level my pally last weekend and those darn unid anni games kept making it hard to find a baal game I was getting pretty ticked. I was like what is this website and how can I destroy them?



 
I have never seen one on non-ladder USEast. I went into a game called "anni 4 anni" and hostiled against a 90 pally, he was like "wtf?" so I apologized and told him I thought he was a bot...LOL. I wonder how many times this happens.

Either the games with random letters/numbers aren't on non-ladder, or I just haven't see any yet. Getting my way up with a druid on ladder, but I don't have a ton of time to play. Plus, I promised not to play again to my wife until I finished painting the guest room...LOL....she pwned me.

Ok, time to paint so I can get back in!

totally OT, but it's just a matter of time .. after all, they have little bots that vacuum your floor .. why not one that can paint the walls? well, i guess gravity is an issue, but still .. i'd buy it. :thumbsup:



 
What I'm doing:
Wait at frigid waypoint with valk and merc with reaper's toll. As soon as he pops through he gets decreped and guided arrows do him fast.
 
For anyone who thinks they may have a problem, get to eld and kill him and his minions first thing, that way if the bot gets away from you, you can follow and fight. I have noticed when there are no monsters around they wont start throwing hammers. If you dont get him there go back to the wp and down the stairs to make sure there are no monsters there, go back to the wp and wait and try again. Again i have noticed if u stand in the way sometimes they wont go around you, they will just stand there and die.

I'm thinking maybe a major aim of these bots is to advertise the website, that's no different than Big Red trying to get us to remember their jingle.

yes I did that all from memory after 20 years or whatever.
 
Somebody on these forums is a bot pker PKER as in joining the same game with a bot and partying. xD That sorc almost killed me. =p
 
They also have names like "Fathom for JK4"

I found a game named "Fathom for MH2"

Another guy in there, Said he wanted fathom and other guy was afk. He thought he would get a fathom for giving guy MHack.

I said watch this and killed bot at frig lol.


I stuff around in a5 town till i see pally come to town, Then go camp wp and end up killing at eld.


Seems like there are atleast 2 different scripts, One of the bots would go to a5 then heal at malah then go to frigid.

Other one would just town, Wait a few seconds then go to frigid.


Edit: I was killed by a pker to, And they camped wp for a few minutes while i tried to get body lol
 
I've been having abit of fun doing this myself until bnet booted me for joining too fast. I mainly picked on funsad (funsad especially:D) and sgfine. Got about 1 million gold and this is with a hammerdin with very poor gear. Best thing I snatched was Magefists.

What I do is invite them in every game I join, this lets me know where they are. Generally if they are at trav I can kill them by spamming hammers at wp, but if they are in Frigid, sometimes theres a small oppurtunity to get them then as well.

Hmm, my necro I'm using is currently sitting at 70/70/70/75(80) all res in hell without any hell quests done at level 72 sans boots, ammy, helmet, anni, torch and a socket in the shield (homunc). Once I get all that taken care of my res should be about unsinkable so I relish the opportunity to fight a sorc trying to protect the bots.
 
i was so stoked to go a hunting bots that i watched the game lists all night

no sign of the bot (i am nl) but i did mange to find a few baal games where someone was using a druid to go around and pk people who stood still too long!

but i want in on this action.. i guess i better brush my ladder hammer off - how can you pass up on this golden oppertuninty to pk!! (almost as much fun as a run hostiler getting pwnd i assume)
 
Well, there's very little challange to doing this unless you're taking him down in trav because then you have to dodge random enemies in tight corners with hammers flying around. Still, long range makes it easy.
 
I party with them, help them kill council, steal drops, follow to a5, hostile, then CE at eld and waste him. Best drop so far, marrowwalk. Got booted for going too fast though. :(

WOW! That is damn impressive. I could actually hear it in my head! LOL. I think I'll have to wait until I can kill a bot on ladder.....now about those painting bots to help me out... :)



 
Hmmm I was doing fine CE them yesterday but today they seem to chicken out every time I start the CE chain. Did they get updated?
