n.b. I really, really want to land the VI role one of these days. I'm a master at winning by losing strategies (being a loser helps). :badteeth:
I worded it like that on purpose to see who would put a question mark to it first, and in what way. I also knew it had a high chance of getting a discussion rolling.
I'm not sure if I understand this correctly. I believe what I've said so far has a possibility of being true. I have no way of proving it, at least not at the moment.
Kitteh is brand new to the mafia game, and I can relate to how unnerving it is to make posts with even the most minimal information. Therefore I'm going to take what kitteh has said so far as just being newcomer's slips, if even that.
I don't buy the "I was trying to spur discussion" line. I just don't see evidence you were trying for a gambit. Gambits are aggressive and risky. I don't remember you doing anything that aggressive or risky.
If you think someone may be framing Drixx, why didn't you wait until someone puts heat on Drixx using that reasoning? Interrogate the interrogator.
If you don't think someone may be framing Drixx or if you are unsure, you don't go as far as you did to align Drixx and yourself as framed townies. LAUWAST. Look At Us We Are So Townie.
"A possibilty of being true" isn't what you said early in the day. A possibility of being true also means a possibility of being untrue. You neglected to mention that possibility regarding Drixx. I don't see you very curious about Drixx's alignment.

Because killing off CG would be an efficient way of adding suspicion to both me and Drixx at the same time, considering our interaction with him in the twilight phase.
Also Sath you never did answer my question, was your vote for CG not bold on purpose, or just a mistake?
SI doesn't seem to be more aggressive than usual, as per my experience in the past games
Re post 114: Solar ice has always seemed aggressive to me. typical solar.
Well that makes your reasoning a whole lot clearer. And I guess I also see why it might be a good thing to not point it out yourself, to see if someone else tries and use it for a case. Didn't consider it that way at the time of posting.
Anyway, I'd like to hear what Drixx thinks about this supposed framing-esque-thingy theory. He's the only one left in this snafu to not have said anything about it....

What are the slips you are referring to?
A nice little bit of early game Mafia scuffling between SI and korial?

@pharphis: Seems my PAL subscription ran out. I've already paid for a new one, but it hasn't updated yet. In other words you probably can't PM me until it's been updated. I'll notify Rush/Elly in the evening (my time) if it still hasn't been updated. Let me know if you need an alternate way of contacting me until my account has been upgraded.
I do not know the motivations for CG's NK. Korial in particular is not giving off good vibes to me. That Korial comes out and mentions this point himself, and then includes Drixx for a frame-up as well does not look good to me.
Vote: Korialstraz
He mentions Drixx as well as himself for a frame-up, not just himself. Quite a difference, as he is defending another player. And he is under no pressure but raises that the motivation for the NK as a frame-up almost off the bat. Why?
Now if Korial was Scum and killed CG, he can get it out of the way that he was framed and make himself look more Townie. If Drixx is Town, he places suspicion on Drixx should Korial go down. If Drixx is a Scumbuddy, Drixx looks better as well, provided that Korial is not lynched.
Drixx, what is your opinion on the framing issue brought up?
I guess I disagree with the korial part. I don't see korial being "framed" unless Drixx flips scum. But then Drixx wouldn't be framed. More like bussing.
What I see korial doing is aligning himself with Drixx. If Drixx is lynched and flips town, korial is more likely to be thought town. If korial is lynched and flips scum, Drixx is more likely to be thought scum. It's like what I saw you do last game as mafia (and why I asked the question specifically of you first).
Trying to determine which roles would be power roles so early in the game? For shame. Without giving away to many spoilers, why do you think those specific characters would be likely to have power roles?
Wait. They are really called buggers? That's as bad as DarkFriend.
The official name is the Formics (formic acid in ants, anyone?).
How do we know you aren't just in a bipolar fit and lieing?
Is it just me or does the "who-posted" screen (if you click on 'replies' of a thread to see who posted in that thread) not work for anyone else? Down across the forums for me, not just this thread.
I vote for our own tub. More space and fewer people to share the wine with.![]()
Nope not the least bit offended....pretty sure I peed in the hot tub so maybe you're better off.
I just don't even have any direction to go in based on what I've read. Seems like a lot of scrambling and any vote I throw is more than likely going to be insanely random and I am not diggin that
Where did I say he is more aggressive than usual?
What are the slips you are referring to?
This. All I remember Kitteh posting is questions about how to use the vote.
I'm not sure I follow your logic. Korial basically put the target on himself with that post. If he goes down and he's a townie, doesn't that lend weight to his thought that the kill was intended as a frame up? If he goes down and flips scum, what would you think that implies about me?
There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of trying to divert attention away from Korialstraz, and mafia early on tend to be skittish of trying to re-direct a train away from one of their own. That's really the only solid thing I can say against him ... but that first post just seems like it would be way too risky a scum play.
I guess what I'm saying is that I can make an argument both ways as far as Korialstraz goes.
Woe is me....

Not what I was saying. If someone had brought that up as the reason to lynch you, I would have been suspicious of them. But I don't see why you thought CG would have been killed to frame you at all, much less feel the need to make that your first point of the day.
The same thing happened to me. An e-mail to elly and maybe an @Thyiad or @Noodle so they post it in the moderator area may help it get squared away faster.
It would seem like very poor play to me on his part if he's mafia.
The question is: Has enough evidence been presented for a Korial lynch and give some clarity to where you stand and well as Korial (with Sath and Kitteh as well)? I think the answer is yes, but if no, what is the alternative?
Posts #98 and #118 are what I considered slips, although I was sure there was another that I can't seem to find.
By slips I mean that what was said should generally be avoided saying. Like a reason for voting being that they're talking too much doesn't make much sense to me, and saying that you'll vote for whoever everyone else seems to be voting for seem like scummy reasons/ideas.
And to further explain, what I mean by posts that should generally be avoided I mean that they make you look scummy, whether or not you're mafia or town. I still think it's just a beginner's mistake. (although I can't say much because I'm a noob still) Still, whether or not Kitteh may be mafia or town can't really be decided from such little slips.
@Bad Ash, @Leopold Stotch : Do I understand you both that you are saying people should withhold voting without any clear choice to vote for?
nope, just stating my own personal opinions, feel this game is more chaotic than most
