Ebotd Giant Thresher?

How well would an Ebotd Giant thresher work in comparison to Ebotd gpa? is it REALLY not worth to invest the runes into an eth giant thresher? I'm asking this since I just happened to come across an eth Giant thresher 6 sox when baalrunning, yet I've never came across a 6 sox eth gpa, and I assume they are not cheap if I want to buy one either. so.... Would it be a complete waste? or would it be fine to make a botd out of that?
And Has any1 ever experienced with an Ebotd GT? Thank you all!:thumbsup:
 
Less damage, more reqs. Its a little faster. Dont know if it hits any breakpoints, but id say its a waste.

edit: if i used the calculator correctly, it had the same speed as great poleaxe with botd in it, thus making it not worth it in my opinion
 
it has the same speed as botd in gp, meaning no advantages compared to gp. It would be a waste to make botd in it

thank u for clarifying that to me... well due to your comments I have 2 questions:
1) Could this GT be worth keeping for any cause(trading perhaps?)? guess not.... but still?
2) What is the exact cost of an eth gpa 6 sox these days?
 
1. you can imbue that gt and hope for some crazy rare (cruel, quickness, repairs durability, 2 sockets, and with masters or fools it would be even better), which is better than botd and tomb reaver together.
2. don't know
 
never trade for socketables

run hell pit (act 1 tamoe highland) in multiplayer games solo with 0 mf

you'll find an ethereal great poleaxe within a day if you play a bunch of hours

then feed it to larzuk
 
socktables are quitecheap, i guess around 5 perf gems for a eth gpa

the only thing i prefer over gpa's are the looks from gt's btw:grin:

You are wrong about the Gt having abetter dmg though

GT stats: 40 to 114 (77 Avg) str needed 188 dex needed 140
GPA stats: 46 to 127 (86.5 Avg) str needed 179 dex needed 99

ethereal they are both better of course

I actually meant GPA. GT = Type :D

That rare is range 5, so theoretically it should be better than eth tomb, right?
 
The problem with that rare is that it needs 2x40/15% ias jewels then it could be better then a eth tomb. Eth tomb with 2 sheals gets around the same damage as that rare.
 
I use too use Ebotd Gt on my old Fury , it worked wonder's for my wolf! Although it's only worth usin if it's 400%+ ed From ebotd.

well it is range 5 but you use tombreaver versus casters mostly. Tombreaver gives alot of resists, this is the reason i prefer tomb although this weapon is sweet for example dvd duells
nother-point is that you need higher requirements to use that polearm :tongue:
