Death by Chat

I am one of those dorks that you see come across trade chat occasionally with a "132423223343344433323322233444" and maybe if I'm really going for it more than one. I have coined this "Death by Chat". What happens is that I inadvertently hit enter and open an active chat line before I attack. Is there a way to unbind or disable the enter key from opening chat?

I do not know. If it's not in the basic keybinding options, then I suppose there's no way. I play on controller and am not even sure how to activate chat on controller lol. I still press Enter on the keyboard.
