yes, there are some poison immunes in the game that are really hard to kill for a venomancer. most skeletons, venom lords or similiar monsters e.g. are poison immune or have a high resistance; there are some unique monsters that are immune as well. but they shouldnt be a real problem, just cast decriprify, let your merc do the first kill, and blast the rest of the pack away with ce. :clap:

but why not another sorc? they deal alot of damage too...:thumbsup:

i've da druid L46 in act1 nm and my javazon L21 in act2, i think i could help you level your chars. baalruns would be nice too, because i can hardly level my singer alone...
 
Hm, but actually the idea was to have someone who aided the party with the lowering of enemy's resistances. The other chars would do the rest then with huge damage... But the other idea was the fun, eh... sorry. I don't want to go on your nerves or something. :-/ It's how it is... ^^ Just sum up the added damage you would get from conviction or lower resist and combine it in one char: It's my sorc! :xmad: *cough* Not at all funny, sorry. ^^

I will only play the sorc if noone has something against it!

If I may play the sorc, I would be glad if I had someone to play with tonight. But I don't want to destroy your baalruns... :-/

P.S.: If I took the sorc, there would be two advantages: I have mostly played sorcs until now (almost only sorcs in 1.09) so I have played many types. After all I noticed that FO and CL are my favourite sorc skills, so she should be fun (and already is at the end of normal difficulty) (1). Regarding this I am also more familiar with sorcs than with other classes (2).

no need to worry bout lacking conviction. my hammerdin is going to sink a point into it once i get up in lvls. i should be up to hell baal by next week. hopefully

I am lvl 52 and about to start nightmare. And I can host! :xsmile3: But atm I have the problem to keep my merc up... He's just lvl 20...

make a nm game? and buy yourself a HF merc when we hit act 2. hopefully my net connection holds up
 
Ok. Should I make a NM game? I thought I'd take a defiance merc, because of the defbonus they should live longest. I can freeze the monsters on my own... I tried cowlevel and he's leveling like crazy. He's 25 now and for nightmare he should be lvl 36-37... Or should I just take a hell merc, because they are not THAT much better than ne normal mercs? :)

dont forget that lots of monsters have ITD, like lister and his cronies, but not many monsters are HF immune. juts my opinion.
id lvl up the norm def merc if you wanted one. 2 skill lvls is alot more than it seems

Ok. Don't worry, he gains 2 levels per run. Now 29 and the cow can't say 'moo' and before they get knocked down by my ice shards. :xsmile3:

Nobo's game down. Had fun. Did some baal runs with 8 people, had a great time in a team duel as well (FB > everyone else) then some more baaling. Got to lvl 92! only took 3 days..
