Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread
sorry i got confused on those post as well.
I am trying to run gomule in window vista home premium i tried that tip about the code to type in and i changed the user name to mine but it didn't take me anywhere. anyway that is where i am at with this right now thank you for the help
Okay I apologize, I forgot that most people do not have hidden files/folders enabled by default. I'm not sure if winvista is the same as win7, it should be very similar.
Open a folder and click organize. Then 'folder and search options'. A box should open up then click the view tab. You might have to scroll down, but change the dot from 'Do not show hidden files, folders, and drives' to 'Show hidden files, folders, and drives' just click on the open bubble. Click apply and then OK. You should now see a lot more files that you did not before, they should appear somewhat transparent now. Do not worry if you do not see any right now, just a heads up if you start to worry about seeing them.
To find your User_Name if you do not already know it if you click on the start menu and on the right there should be a name at the top whether it be User or Owner or another name just change User_Name to that. So if your
User_Name was Owner, then it should be:
Before the change
C: \Users\User_Name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\save
After the change to the correct user name
C: \Users\Owner\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\save
P.S. You probably should browse there instead of copy and pasting. It probably would be easier so that you can repeat the process without having to keep this copied somewhere. Plus if I accidentally put a space or misspell something it will not work. ;p Good luck and hopefully this works. Again this is win7 instructions if it is different for you let me know and I will do a search using google for a winvista version to 'view hidden folders and files'
