Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

This is where google is your friend.

Not sure if this works for 1.13 or not, I have not downloaded and installed it.
http://www.silospen.com/pd.php?p=d2

I did in fact google it, but that the link to the run counter (both basic and advanced) returns a link to the GoMule download page, thus meaning that there is currently no way to download Silo's run counter?

Does anyone have it hosted locally? I checked Thy's page and she doesn't seem to have it up there at all...

Any help would be great..

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

You did try changing the path to either inside your ATMA or GoMule folder?
Yep.

That is very strange. :scratchchin: I just tested it out and was able to keep my stashes and characters listed with no problem.
They remain listed in the file menu, they work fine once they're opened, but they don't open automatically when I run ATMA. It's not a big deal (I won't be reinstalling and running the gauntlet of patching it to support Essences again, that was a nuisance), it's just something that should be simple.

Thanks a lot for your time and assistance, though. I really appreciate it.

That is totally different than what I though was the problem. I do not believe there is a way for it to remember them that way. What you want I believe was never programmed into either muler. Sorry for the bad news.

If anyone knows of a way for the characters and or stashes to automatically reopen as it was when ATMA/GoMule was before you closed it, that is what Alc is asking for.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I have recently started playing d2 again after a break and have a question regarding d2s stash files and 1.13. Is it possible to move older (1.12) items from the stash to 1.13 characters? I read somewhere that characters can be corrupted by items from the wrong version but it would be very tiresome to move all the hundreds of saved items to mule characters and then back to the stash after upgrading to 1.13.

There should be no issues in upgrading from 1.12 to 1.13.

The only issue you may encounter is if you are using ATMA with 1.13c as the Tokens/Essences etc do not have image files or data contained in ATMA so they cause an error when opening characters with the items.

So in short, if you are using ATMA store your Essences/Tokens on characters and transfer via the game, or the easiest method would be to use GoMule which has been updated accordingly and uses the same .d2x stash files.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

great thanks joosh. I have downloaded GoMule and created a stash(d2x) but I can't open the old atma stashes, they simply don't show up neither in the open stash dialog box, nor in windows explorer. (show hidden files is on) I can see them and open them with ATMA. Any suggestions?

Are you sure you have navigated to the correct location of your stash files within GoMule? I recently made the switch from ATMA to GoMule and had no such issues finding my stashes.

Yes, I'm sure. But I managed to fix it by creating a new stash in ATMA in a new directory and then moving all the stuff to this new stash which GoMule was able to find.

I have a question about GoMule; the latest version is 0.31 right? I ask because the file I downloaded says 3.1_1.13 but when I run the program is says 0.3 and the drop calculator says 1.10+ and not 1.13

If you got it from the first page of the sticky, which I believe by the name you did, you have the most current one. The only thing that changed in the way the game saves data was the essences and tokens, which silosphen updated GoMule and ATMA, he did not update it any further. The only problem that GoMule and ATMA have at the moment is with the bank, since it is now a static amount as opposed to an amount based on level. The drop calculator was virtually left untouched iirc. Use the German drop calculator for 1.13, sorry I will not link to it here just in case Thy has a problem with it.

First off welcome to the forums. Thankyou for finding the sticky and posting in the right place for more info.

Inside the RWMfor113c folder there is another folder named Runewords. You need to take that folder out of the RWMfor113c folder and place it in the Diablo II folder. That should solve that problem for you. If that does not then please post a screen shot of your Diablo II folder and shortcut for the RWM. These screen shots will help us see where the problem lies.

Once you get the shortcut correctly done buy a 3 socketed bow from Charsi in Normal Act I and try making the Edge Runeword, Tir Ral Amn. This is one of the cheaper and easier Ladder-Only Runewords to make. If it stays a gemmed bow then do not fret or get rid of the bow in any way. Come post here and we will help find out why it is not working. Once the RWM is working it will magically turn the gemmed bow into an Edge Runeword bow. This way you do not waste your runes in making another.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Hey Thank You for Your response, I have unzipped the rwm113c and there is no folder named runewords in it it is just the codes i believe for the script, I downloaded from the rwm113c from the first page and there is no folder named runewords do i have the right file, or do i need to download another file and this was just an ext? I can and have sent the file named RWM 113c to my d2 folder, do i need a desktop shortcut for rwm113c also?

It sounds like you downloaded the wrong file. The one you downloaded is just a text file with the name Runes.txt right? You want the file that is used to install the RWM as a whole and not the file to update it.

Here is the exact link for the RWM that you need:
http://www.chrisclarke.co.uk/D2stuff/PDFs/RRM RWM/RWM for 1.13c/RWMfor113c.7z

If you do not want to follow my link, I understand completely.
Here are the links you want to click on from the first page of the RWM
Go to the first page of the sticky and click on the RWM link
Now click on the third link, RWM for 1.13c/
From there the only link listed is the file you want, RWMfor113c.7z

Hope this helps. Follow the guide in the archive not the one that is from the first page. Let me know if it does not.

P.S. Just a thought what program are you using to extract the file? It might be that your program is not up to date enough to handle .7z files. You might want to try downloading 7zip which is the program that created the compression standard of .7z.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Okay, so I've recently installed 1.09d and started a character. Consequently, I want to use ATMA to mule some items off of him. I can load him up in ATMA, but I cannot pick up any of his items. I click on them, they flash, and stay where they are. I've messed with the options a bit, but can't seem to get anything to work. To make matters stranger, I can use the bank feature... just can't pick up any items. Anyone got any advice? (Browsed through this thread some, but 54 pages... that's a lot to try and read it all)

Just so that I make sure you understand how to use ATMA. You have to drag and drop in ATMA, not just click and then click some place somewhere else like in GoMule.

If this is not the reason please respond with a confirmation and any other problems you might be having with ATMA.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Yes, I'm a moron. I had used ATMA a couple years ago but clearly forgot. Not nearly as functional as GoMule :| Is there anyway to select multiple items at once? I just drag/dropped about 40 chip gems into a stash lol

I have not used ATMA in a while, but I do not remember there ever being that feature til GoMule came along. GoMule saves the items in the 'clipboard' which enables it to move multiple items as if they were one. I do recall others complaining about that as one of the reasons they either moved to GoMule or wish that ATMA had the same ease of moving multiple items. Sorry.
