Tried posting progress earlier, but it didn't work. Made it to Stoney Field and had to stop. Hopefully Ill get further tonight before leaving for our camping trip.

I find it funny that you are sad at getting two items with enough durability to last the entire difficulty, although unique armors would probably last until you found a better replacement.

Plague Javalin is awesome until hell, deals MASSIVE damage and takes down entire packs in seconds.

Very true, I saved my Rals and Orts for weapon and armor breaks, which plagued me in act2.

I hope to start my character after I run some errands and eat tonight. I cut some stuff out of the table, so hopefully more will fit without the annoying scroll bar. Remember, the further you have progressed, the higher up you belong in the table

The winner is the one who goes the farthest in the game.

Small question to clarify the rules. If for example you kill all monsters in the Den of Evil, you can not return to Akara for the reward? Also, you may not repair items?

Yes, you can kill the monsters for xp and items, but you wont recieve the reward for it. Since you never need to speak to akara to progress in the game, you're not allowed too. The same question is for repairing, you never need to speak to anyone who repairs items for you, so you cannot do it. HOWEVER, you may use the cube recipe to repair anything you wish.

note, none of these will do anything for etheral items.
1 Ort Rune + Weapon = Fully Repaired Weapon
1 Ral Rune + Armor = Fully Repaired Armor
1 Ort Rune + 1 Chipped Gem (any kind) + Weapon = Fully Repaired and Recharged Weapon
1 Ral Rune + 1 Flawed Gem (any kind) + Armor = Fully Repaired and Recharged Armor

WOW! After my first night of playing this, I can safely say this challenge is not to be taken lightly.

I think the trickiest part I came across so far, was just as I entered 2nd level of the pit, there was a nice cursed unique mob and Archers around her

So I started picking her minions off one by one, when out of nowhere, my weapon broke :hide: Luckily I had a 2 handed Polearm on switch, but no block, slow attack + running low on health pots made surviving tricky...but I managed to survive some how (playing /players 8 btw, and will try not to lower that number :wink2: )

The other thing I'm really struggling with, is the lack of Scrolls of Identity, and bag space..its really making a challenge, deciding on what to keep, and what not.

I'm really hoping I get my hands on a antidote for Andy tomorrow, or lifes going to be very tricky:undecided:

Single player only, playing on bnet, or open bnet will DQ your char.

This morning when I looked there was only one necro, so I started one of those, and now I see there are lots. Oh well. In any case I didn't want to make a Fishymancer so I think he will be a poisonmancer. He'll use a golem for a tank and lots of curses for crowd control. I'm not sure what to use for PsnI's, but I guess I'll look at some guides.
