Hi! [Sorry about editing your post (Quote)]I hex-edited the ********* to open 2 windows of diablo 2. I think I should be safe too then since modding is allowed? I can't wait anymore lol to get home and check![]()
Based on JacksonMe's reply...Sounds like the banned will have 30 days off then they can play again?
(from Battle.net front page)
The Diablo II CD keys associated with the closed Diablo II accounts are now restricted from playing on Battle.net for approximately 30 days. Repeat offenders will have their accounts closed and their CD keys permanently banned from Battle.net.
Even if you never used d2loader personally, your mule account may have been used with d2loader if you used it for a mule trade on these forums. Think about that next time you do a mule trade.
VMware and XP could be considered 3rd party since they are not made by Blizzard.
Ouch!
This probably explains a big portion of the bans. Personally I muletraded a lot the last couple of months and knowing this my ban becomes a whole lot more logical.
Makes you wonder if muletrading should be prohibited on this forum as you can never really know what the other trader is doing with the mule. Same goes for rushing services.
Let me re-iterate some salient points for those not understanding:
- WE DON"T CARE if all you were doing was muling...
- It's still CHEATING, we don't do it and get along w/o cheating, so should you.
- SO WHAT if you can't effectively mule in D2, that doesn't give you some moral high ground to CHEAT, yes CHEAT...
- Again, WE DON"T CARE if you leave. We're better off with a smaller population that doesn't cheat.
- We realize that there are indeed nice guys just muling... (need I go on with this?)
Sorry for the tough love, but that's the game.
