Thanks @Brak for updating my finds. I finally had the time to check the patterns myself, and I believe I found a small mistake in the tables.

It seems to me that the Players 7/8 Mal #3, Mal #4 (found by @zticazzy and @Pb_pal respectively) and Mal #7 (found by me) are actually the same pattern.

In Mal #4 line it says 2-handed Axe, which, judging by Pb_pals screenie, should be Two-Handed Sword.

Zticazzy's game is in italian so that may confuse a bit, but I believe "Balestra" is actually Arbalest, not Crossbow (even though "Balestra" means crossbow in italian. Makes me wonder what Normal Crossbow actually is in italian?). There's also "Spada A Due Mani", aka Two-Handed Sword, and "Ascia di Lochaber", Lochaber Axe, both found in Pb_pals and my screenies.

All share the Tir rune. You can also see crossbow-type in the ground in my screenie, which I'm sure is Arbalest.

So, in conclusion, I think the final pattern shared by all three is:
Code:
Mal #3 Arbalest Jo Staff Lochaber Axe Tir Rune Two-Handed Sword

I'm pretty sure this correct, but other people should probably confirm this just to be sure, before touching the tables. I hope this wasn't too confusing :) RoF can be tricky, because it's so dangerous you don't really have enough time to go through the clutter, so these things can happen. Didn't find any other problems in the tables, though.

Yes I noted that was strange when I was marking it up (the three Tir Rune drops), but didn't have time to dig up the originals to compare.

I would vote for merging them. But zticazzy's cleaned up drop shows a 5th Item. I don't know what the translation is though.

To be fair there is SO MUCH junk in that drop

EDIT: OK they've been officially merged. We can call it the Prudence drop from now on

Yeah that balestra may be an arbalest after all (too many names overlapping in the italian version o_O). Good that you merged them, I think it was the right thing to do.

I have a new Vex pattern for p7, found during the RFL:

Also, confirming that pattern #2 for Ohm on p7 does indeed include Scimitar:

Adding in Neksja's finds and mine from the RFL

Reconfirming Ber #1
New Ist #8
New Pul #3
Possibly New Gul #6
!Looking at Gul #5, there are exactly 4 more items in the captured drop than Gul#6, so #5 might be a locked variant of #6. I'll leave a note for Gul #5 hopefully we can get a repeat with a 6th item.

I did a stress test in 1.14d. I copied the chest about 20 times (20 chests per run) and removed mobs. I used a testing char with 1000 fcr to speed things up.
After about 15 runs (~300 regular runs) I got a Jah drop. I also found some other known patterns. Going to do some more runs to see if they can also drop Cham. All done on players 7:

TECHNICAL INFORMATION ABOUT SUPERCHESTS
I remember doing this back in 1.12 when the original thread was active. I did a number of runs and couldn't best Sur (as with jjscud). A little information to put in the OP:

These "Super Chests" are bugged in that they are NOT completely random. These chests roll a seed between 0-65536 (0xFFFF) to determine which route to take. This works just like generating maps, a certain map seed ALWAYS gives the same map. This "bug" doesn't apply to anything in Act 5. Those big gold chests are always random and thus don't have a special Zod possibility. The superchest uses object id '-580' and only spawns in Act 1-4. This makes RoF chests the best for anything but Zod, in which case Hephasto tops that.

In pre-1.13, because runes were so rare, they fell out of the scope of the 0xFFFF possibilities per seed. Thus, finding Jah/Cham in pre 1.13 via this method doesn't work. But because they made runes easier to find, some new ones fall into the scope of the seed. For the record, in 1.12 the Runes 16 class was 5:47269. Assuming one rune for every ~10 chests on players 7/8, this means (equations are approximate to game mechanics):
Code:
*1.12*
65535/10 = 6553 chests that contain a rune drop.
47269/5 = 1/9453 for Jah/Cham (falls out of the scope 9453>6553).
*Runes 15 = 5:27011* Sur/Ber
27011/5 = 5402
6553/5402 = 1.2
~2 Sur Drops per LK chests
~1 Ber Drop per LK chests

Now take a look at the 1.13 tables (rounded numbers):
Code:
*1.13+*
Runes 16 -> 5:3957
65535/10 = 6553 ; chests which contain runes
3957/5 = 791 ; Jah/Cham per Rune 16 drop
6553/791 = 8 ; Total Rune 16 drops
8 * 3/5 = 5 ; Total Jah combinations
8 * 2/5 = 3 ; Total Cham combinations

To sum up: there are theoretically a total of 5 Jah combinations and 3 Cham combinations on players 7/8 in 1.13. Now lets find them folks!!!!!!

Well while that is absolutely lovely I did the same 6 months ago forging the ROF drops at LK. I am curious how you did forge those additional chests at ROF, if you can forge them in lower kurast all you need to do is replacing act 3 (H) chest B with Act 4 (H) Check B an you are good to go.

Also here is my table from the same test:

I still expect another Jah and or Cham pattern at p7...
On players 6 I expect two more Jah and a Cham patterns

In some ways, I'm surprised the collectors in us haven't gone for the "Superchest grail". Who is the first user to get all 65K patterns!

The moment we've all waited for... [modded game--spoiler alert]
Cham Drop!! -- players 7

Well, being the first Cham ever reported, we can put it to rest. It has both Jah/Cham patterns and is thus more viable than Lower Kurast if you need a rune higher than Ber. It took me about 120 runs with 40 chests each run (~2400 regular unmodded runs).

All players 7:

Confirming Lo #3 again.
Confirming Gul #7 again.
Confirming Ist #3.

Not to be "that guy" but we've been doing legitimate runs for over a year looking for these patterns. It's a bit deflating to have someone pop into the thread hack the game and say "here's the answer" over the course of a couple hours. Treeharl was doing something similar, but less overpowered, a while back and the idea was to put his finds behind a spoiler tag. I would recommend the same.

@Brak well that would be the ideal solution if we didn't get spoiled already, which is clearly the case now. I think what needs to be done is all patterns found by me and the other guy is to be added to the table with the first item shown and the others with ??? and needs to be confirmed legally. Confirming patterns that testers have found woudn't be a bad solution imo to this case.

Fact is we have our Jah and Cham pattern now and I expect 1 Jah more at players 8. I still expect atleast 2 Jahs more (most likely 3-4) and 1-2 Cham patterns at players 6.

My example would be:

Cham #1 Item1 Ring ??? ##Needs to be legally confirmed.

Well I'm not here to find all the combinations. I've done my fair share of runs back in 1.12, and I didn't want to do them all over again just to be disappointed. I'm not doing runs anymore, the confirmation is all we need. Now that we know for sure Jah/Cham is possible, MORE people will run RoF. Think about it... how many skeptical people that stuck with LK will do RoF now to find patterns? I certainly will be running RoF with my legit chars now that I know. But i'm not wasting my time. I've done 20k+ runs before and I didn't want to do it again.

I'm with @Brak on this one. I think it's lot more fun if the patterns are found in legit way. I know you mean well, but there's also the point, that some people run RoF for the feeling of discovery, not necessarily the runes. And now you're basically robbing them from that feeling by using non-legit means. I think it would be thoughtful to at least ask if people want your mod-assisted help, before posting your findings. I dunno, maybe I'm naive, but for me it would've been lot cooler if the first Cham from RoF would've been found with legit means.

Oh I agree with you. After I hid my Cham with a spoiler I knew it was too late. But... would it have been any different had I found it legitimately? Either way Someone already confirmed a Jah which is basically all we needed to know.

BTW i never did runs on players 5/6, so we don't know if you can get a Cham on that setting. I'll leave that for someone else...

But... would it have been any different had I found it legitimately?

Just take a step back and imagine how this looks from the other perspective: People have run thousands, even tens of thousands of RoF runs without finding a Cham pattern. Then, out of the blue, without a warning, you come with 40 modded chests and 1000fcr, and find Cham in 120 runs. That's not helping, that's like running marathon with a motorcycle. I know you want to help, but if you don't want to do legit runs, then let others do them first and then confirm the results. Or at least have the courtesy to offer help beforehand.

There's also this thing: I don't understand modding. I don't know how you place 40 chests in RoF. Nor do I care to know. That's why there's no way I'm going to consider your findings relevant, since I have no idea if those can actually be duplicated in my game. I dunno, maybe it's just me, but all this random modding makes me a bit uneasy. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I like results I know from the get go I can actually reproduce in my game, using the same rules everyone here shares.

This is all of course my personal view. If others disagree, I'm open for discussion.

@Burgomaster3 My view is a bit different here. First of all I do agree with you about the fact things get speed up and after you done thousands of legit runs out of the blue people start manipulating gamefiles and force certain drops. But we need to be real here, finding 95% of all ROF patterns require a wopping 100.000 runs. If you make 1 run in 30 seconds it takes 833 hours of straight ROFing to get 95% of the patterns (good riddance!)

Modding doesn't have to be a bad thing if it allows us to understand the game better or give us some vital parts of information. From what I as modder know his drops seem to be legit patterns. He ran the marrathon and got EXTREMELY lucky by hitting both Jah and Cham in when calculated 1200 ROF runs. Even with 20 chests at my calculated odds he should have ran atleast 1k runs before having a chance of finding them both.

Well I started it half a year ago, after rethinking I think i shoudn't have start that process at the first place. Maybe I made a mistake there, but at that point I thought well we need as much information as possible and that is exactly what modding does when used propperly.

At this point it is whats done is done. We have our source at Jah and Cham at players 8 with an avarage of 32K to find one each run. I disagree with you on "his findings are irrelevant", but the way the findings are gathered is indeed questionable.

What we should do is confirm that Cham without modifications (or run players 6 and get a Cham there!)

During the 1.12 days, I did around 10k RoF runs and 30k LK runs. I confirmed all kinds of drops. I get it guys, I ruined the fun in searching. I didn't think about your PoV when posting it, that was my bad. I was really excited after having wasted all that time with 1.12, then finally figuring out after all these years that Jah/Cham is possible.

TL;DR -> We still have to confirm it, and we also need to find other potential Jah/Chams in all player settings.
