So... I'm now wondering whether 1.14 (I am playing 1.14d) has changed the LK chest drops. It's not exactly rock-solid evidence, but so far with my only 3 Pul+ drops: Vex, Um and Pul, all 3 have been "new" patterns. The Vex and Pul matched someone else's "new" drops, and the Um isn't even listed. Here are the Pul and Um (sorry, I picked up the Pul and some gold before SSing and felt it was best not to drop anything.)

I am using /p7 in LK, always. Patch 1.14d, no mods installed yet. I looked at all the 1.14a-d patch notes, nothing listed seems to indicate they've changed the drops, but since this is already based on a bugged chest drop, who knows? Ideas:
1.) Maybe it's coincidence and I'm just randomly hitting rarely-hit drops (this should become apparent pretty quickly either way)
2.) Maybe /p7 is (now?) different than /p8?
3.) I'm running a "non-optimal" map, where the two pairs of buildings are on opposite sides of the map. Maybe there is some difference because of that? This is a shot of my overall map:

On what date was my Um pattern first recorded? Was it before or after the release of 1.14d? It just seemed weird that the only 3 I got seem to have been "new" or not common patterns. I remember when I ran 1.13 that it seemed every pattern I hit was already recorded and known. Are there many confirmed instances of known 1.14d patterns matching known 1.13 patterns? I noticed a lot of people seem to still be on 1.13, and also many screenshots don't display it cause their map isn't on.
I plan to do a good bit more runs, it should become apparent before too long whether 1.14d has new patterns.

I'm completely confused, maybe I missed something but is there something specific I need to be doing to get LK super chests to drop rrunes?
Pretty much. I'm sure you can manage great finds on other player settings and be more safe doing it but I usually restrict my walks to P8, just a personal preference.
So I just want to be sure, there's nothing special other than trying to spawn a good map then just running in a circle and blasting chests over and over and over again. I just got confused with the with this item and that item it spawns this rune.
