1.11 SPF HC Ladder

Ah, well, now that I've gotten Piscene through Normal, I might as well join the HC crowd.

She's a soreceress, I think I'll go meteorb, as the only experience I've had so far with sorcy's was a tri-elemental in 1.09, which I hear is no longer viable.

She's lvl. 15 now, not yet using any magic to kill, except for the occasional static field and one point in ice bolt to slow stuff down and allow the poison from the bow to do it's work.

Now, where's that meteorb guide....

The journey of Crazy_Bear the Druid continued today with the end of act 4 and the beginning (well, pretty much half) of act 5. In the process of completing these quests he received a Ko from the NM hell forge and a Tal's Mask from Eldritch. Nice merc helm there.

Found a Darkglow.... tempting to use, but not that tempting. Still, the +5 max resists would be nice for hell, assuming Crazy lives through the NM ancients and WSK. Unless a nicer armour drops along the way that might come into play.

Anyway, he reached the glacial trail wp, rescued Anya, and is now lvl 69.

I realized that I should probably get Pooncer on here since he is approaching level 50. Then I realized just how out of date some of my characters were. So, there were a lot of little updates (and a big one for Alexa) and a couple of new Septavirate characters to add. I also think I got the table updated with everyone else's characters (so you might want to check to make sure I didn't make any mistakes.)

Unfortuately, one of the key rules of the ladder is that all items must come from within the ladder item pool. That means that that one trade made with Aero Gear (who isn't a ladder participant as far as I can see) disqualifies the character. (Oh, and just a termanoligy note: I don't think you can call any character who uses traded items untwinked. :wink3: )

Also, for future reference, characters should be added before they hit level 50. The rules do allow exceptions to be made for higher level characters with enough "votes" (which people are usually pretty willing to give) but it saves everyone the hasle if you remember to get your characters on before the cutoff.

Ah, the HC thread shows up again...

I should get in the habit of reporting more often, but this time I've been trying to forget about what I did to poor Crazy_Bear. He cleared NM, defeating Ancients and Baal. He entered Hell at lvl 74, quite respectable. With some adjustments to gear and players setting he got geared up for hell, and easily cleared the den and the Blood raven. I decided it would be great to see if he could get a lucky drop by clearing the Mausoleum. Unfortuately, what he got instead was a bad FE/LE/cursed boss which I didn't take seriously enough. I messed up and the FE explosion took out Crazy_Bear. RIP. *sigh* he had lots of life and good resists, and I had no excuse, just didn't play carefully enough.

For the record, as I see the fields were left blank of the ladder, he was vanilla 1.11, untwinked.

Ack. RIP Crazy_Bear. The FE bug may have been fixed, but it can still pack a dangerous punch.

I'll add it in the next time I update the table. (Since this isn't as active as the SC ladder, I don't mind just posting updates every once and a while and letting the participants just post their own character's stats.)

Entered my 3rd HC char, well, my 2nd... Just found out my L22 Wussalot had had the misfortune of not been checked [HC], so, he's a softcore Wussalot

Oh well, can't have enough practice I guess. Hope I did the table right, it keeps troubling me...

Elektra from the TWD tourney has reached level 42, so I figured time for an update.

Edit: Forgot to update BerzerkBilly from the same.

Also, AeroGear, I see no one answered you from awhile ago. I think you're good to join, as long as you're below level 50, and haven't twinked/traded with non ladder characters.

Below level 50? All my HC chars made after my 3 javazons whom are all dead are all untwinked and using gear they manage to gamble or find on their own. Clvl 62 concentrate barb and clvl 33 Frostzealot.

My graveyard is getting crowded :lipsrsealed:
