But really, why she died? As you can see my own sorc, Katalina, has died at near the same level as yours. I guess we got into the same trap. My Blizzard/Meteor girl was the most powerful character I ever played, so I become stupid and ran into Hell with negative resistance. As result she met her destiny in a form of LE zombie in the Mausoleum. My most stupid death ever! :( At least every death teach us something.
 
Hey everybody I'm back!

My first entry into the 1.11 HCL is none other than Mr_Fur the Armageddon Bear. I made it to Act II last night with no problems so far. My planned build is to max Lycan, Maul, Armageddon, and Volcano. I'm not so sure on the Merc, I can't decide between Might or Holy Freeze.

Sorry to hear about your sorc AndiDi; I'll make sure I give Fangskin an extra whack on the way by.

Newton the frost zealot completed normal and a few baal runs besides to reach level 49. The overall effect of that HF aura at level 20 is quite impressive, though he sure slows down against monsters that have high cold resists. He tried to craft a blood axe, but didn't have much success. Probably better to try again when he is higher level.

With Newton through normal it was time to start another char, so Flying_Snow (anyone else like the movie 'Hero'?) was started. She has already saved the rogues and is starting in on act II, looking for a Horodric cube. One she got BF she because very quick for this part of the game, and soon the lightning traps will be available too.

OT: got a new computer this past thurs. P4 3.00 GHz ATI radeon PCI express card etc etc.... what a difference from the old one. But the most amazing thing is this flat panel monitor... wow, what a nice picture.

Thanks for condolenses. But nevermind I just started a new Frostmaiden Utuk'ku. I decided to do it untwinked as long as possible (I hope until Hell Baal :D ). She will have (20 Cold Arrow, 20 Freezing Arrow, 10 Strafe, 17 Valk). She is now level 7 and has just killed Bloodraven. I hope this will keep me occupied until the 3rd edition of the TWD starts (I can't wait to start, I already have planed out my chars I will do).

OT: I got myself a new computer a month back. What flat panel monitor do you have. I always had problems with my 19"-TFT and my ATI card to get the scaling right (800x600 scaled to 1280x1024 doesn't look right). Now I use a NVidia card and all my problems are gone.

My monitor is a Dell 1905FP (19inch, digital input). The picture looks great at 1280x1024 for me. Actually, I wish I had more room on my desk to move the monitor farther away though...
 
I've made my first HC character, in a bid to try to make it to Guardian. He's a fledgling Fishymancer. Thing is, I'm playing Vanilla 1.10. Can I add him here, or is there still an active 1.10 ladder thread? (I tried searching for a 1.10 ladder thread, but my browser refused.)

Leveled up my Amazon over the weekend. She is now level 28. I plan to level her to 30 before facing the Council. This way she has Valkyrie and Freezing Arrow before that.

Added my Darts Tournament paladin and updated the satus of Soledad, who was doing Mausoleum runs last month. Will add my TDW chars next time after I will start playing them.

P.S.: How is the work with the ladder web page, Cattleya? Need help? I write database programs in Visual C++ and SQL at work, however I’m not familiar with web programming.

Started another Naked Necro recently. My main goal is to get into Nightmare and pass up all my other HC attempts.

At this point the main issue for me is time. (I don't remember college being this hard the first time around. :D ) I really haven't had a chance to take a real look to see what I need to do. I plan to make it my main project during the winter break. (Aside from actually playing some of my D2 characters. :) ) Once I get going, I'm sure I'll start bothering all of the friendly SPFers that have volunteered to help out when I get stuck.

I’m not familiar with BNet’s ladder. Is there a exp tab? How characters with equal level but different exp are placed?
 
This came up in another thread, and I realized that it hadn't been addressed here. (Or if it was, I missed it.) Does anyone have a problem going with the idea of 1.11 = 1.11b for the ladder? I'm assuming that some people have upgraded and others have not.

Also, to answer the XP tab question: For now, lets leave it out, since it will just complicate the table more. I will add it in when we move to the website (which should be by the end of the year.)
