1.11 Release Notes

The Pandemonium stuff is certainly in cubemain.txt.

Pandemonium key: pk1 + pk2 + pk3 = Pandemonium Portal
Pandemonium Finale key: dhn + bey + mbr = Pandemonium Finale Portal

I'll get deciphering what those codes refer to.
 
FE is definately fixed, it no longer triggers the deathnova every time the monster goes into hit-recovery, nor does it carry over the deathnova damage to the bolts if the monster is LE as well.

Things aren't looking so bad after all.. Might be able to play melee chars again now without having to worry so much, also means no more instakill ancients - Bonus for those of you who play HC.

The last 7 are class-specific in a sense, each gives +2 to a particular class skills. They are all armor runewords.


So they added the Realms only recipies but not the ladders only ones... IIRC.
 
damn, the class-specific recipies look very unjust!
how come some of them require dual um, sur or gul whereas other is HelAmnNef i.e. all low runes...

not too balanced I'd say...

Crap, I should know better than that - trying to rush.

I just copy pasted the text of the recipes for those, but the actual recipes (which define it, whereas the text is just a comment) do not all match.

Warning - don't use those recipes yet!

I'll decode them properly as punishment for my laziness.

would this be buffed up a but if there are points in decoy. Either way, that's a heathly number of skills that could be by passed on some zon builds. Time to Mat by current Hybrid and then turn around and rebuild her.

I personally think they are trying to use "behavior modification" philosophy... they would rather us play online, so online play recieves a reward...

make ya think maybe d3 will be online only?

edit: I saw that chance to cast valk.. that would be kickass if my sorc could wear that long enough to cast a lvl 15 valk

Hmm... a zon would most likely have a better valk than just L15, so she'll lose her own valk every now and then. Of course she could recast her own, but you need to notice... and may lose one with good weapon mods (like amp).

Perhaps it offers something for other builds, having an additional tank never hurts, and +2 CS isn't bad too.
 
Well, RTB's already made the neccessary modifications to the new Runes.txt to enable the Realm/Ladder only words, so for anyone out there that's running with the mod, and currently has 1.11 installed -> http://wreckernl.homestead.com/files/Runes.txt (right click, save as)

That ctc valk is going to suck when your uber slvl 32 valk gets replaced by its slvl 15 variant.

give it a week and we will figure all of this out, still 2 hours before I can get home and download the patch :D

It gets worse, from what I've seen, there's nothing limiting you to just one, like ani and gheeds. I don't think that makes any sense but those who have hacked the mpq's to make it drop can equip multiples.
 
45 ias on the assa armor... *G* sounds like fun... but the sorc armor... couldn't make that one work!?! Used Pul Ral Sur and poof nothing..
 
Question: Is the Merc hiring change complete in 1.11 SP? In the notes it says that they've made it so that the levels of available hirlings increase with clvl, can we confirm that that change is made?

I think we are all very sad that you lost a Sur doing that :rolleyes:
 
I tested the Peace runeword with my Zealot. Unfortunately, the valkyrie disappeared if I tried to remove the armor or upon returning to town. I can understand why it would disappear if the armor was removed, but returning to town shouldn't trigger that AFAIK.
 
Well, I gotta say, this is seriously underwhelming. What a disappointment.

The nice things: a few new runewords, and the FE bug fixed. And all of your items and characters (with the exception of a couple special builds dependent on the synergy bug) are still pretty much the same as they ever were, so no real need to do a complete restart.
