I'm not sure if I'll go for 95, though I still have tons of pgems that I need to craft but can't due to a shortage in sapphires and diamonds...
 
Well, I've taken the plunge into1.07 HC, with my new sorc Spaghettini followed an hour or so later by Spaghettini2. (Sorry, Pharphis!) Looking forward to some rack running and more horrible deaths.

When rushing in 1.07 do all of the players that want the boss kill have to be in game when boss dies? Particularly with Baal, do they need to be in game or they can just take TP down and go through red portal to Destruction's End? Is there a guide for 1.07 rushing that says the specific requirements for a rushee to get credit for completing each act? Things like "be in act/town/area when boss dies" etc.
 
I never tried having the chars joining after the boss kill, but I'm fairly sure that you'll get the "cannot complete quest etc" message in the quests screen.
 
Level 14, running Norm Inner Cloister for XP and chippies. Man, this is slow going! Will probably try to hit level 16 before heading down into the catacombs.
 
I know the +skills doesn't work on 1.07 mercs, but, even considering this, are the Iron Wolves elemental attacks worthwhile? Since AmpDam doesn't seem to break PIs, I have a couple of ctc bows that I was going to use, I'm going to need some elemental damage for my Hunter. Would a cold rouge scout or iron wolf do enough elemental damage to make a difference anyway? Or should I just go with the town guard and do the elemental damage myself?
 
amp dmg does break PIs, it just doesn't change the label on the monsters. My rogue uses amp dmg bow for my trav runs and it is amazing

Valk wing is great for mercs for the ias (and frw fhr fcr :eek:)

but you can easily shop composite bows with amp dmg in A1 Hell and then punch holes in them hoping for 4

my rogue has 120 ias which is the highest attack speed iirc when using fast bases like composite bow

That'd be right!!! 1.07 is infested with bugs. I've got both short and long bows with ctc AmpDam, but even if I can punch maximum holes in them they'd be a bit slow. I'll take a look at what's available at the venders. Ta muchly.

EDIT: You can punch more than 1 hole in a rare?!?

that's a craft, so it got 3os. I made a safety craft because mdr = op.. and was hoping for things like poison dmg and ED as well
 
you betcha. I burned most of them on prismatic amulets and would do so with the rest but I don't have even amounts of each
