Awww...I missed you too, D2 - Item Find Thread April 2019

I agree it's absurd, I haven't found a single one in all of my D2 career before. My first one was in January or February off of pindle with my javazon and around 150-200 MF.
It's kinda ridiculous. I do grind AT a lot, that's for sure, but I found more Dwebs in the last week's than Occulus, Shako or even Vipermagi.

I mean I don't complain, right? It's just.. I tend to not find an item for years and then I do find a bunch of them. As with my first mang songs ever and 2 more in a span of 4 months.

No unique sacred armor though. I start believing my map seed really affects drops lol.

Complaining works. Confirmed once more! :D

My rune stash looks ridiculous at this point. Gieb Bers PLZ.

Not even a Pul yet. Just Jah+Ber

Frustrating watching all of you peoples! I found a Ber like a week and a half ago and a Sur shortly before that and I have been running LK a ridiculous amount since then. So much so that I complained about it a few days ago in this very thread. I don't get it. I find Vex, Sur, Ber, Jah in a matter of 2 weeks at most, probably less, and then run LK until I can't stand it and can't get above an Ist out of those superchests.

You guys say complaining works, so I am going to overtime complain until I get that last Sur. At this rate all of the Mal, Ist, Vex I get from poppables is going to amount to a Sur, before I even find one out of a chest lol..

I was going through my stash where I put unid good items, my high runes and various items that I think are special and deserve to be separated from the other jewelry, charms, etc spots, and I found a jewel that has almost completely perfect mods, other than missing 1 strength. I think I overlooked it when I found it, but obviously knew it was good at the time. Now I am wondering if this is better than I originally thought. The 1 missing Strength is annoying, but I think at the time I didn't realize how valuable +3 MPK can be. Is this better than I initially thought? I am almost positive I didn't share it when I found it, but now I want to, so I can hear some opinions and if there are certain builds you guys think this could be great for. Javazon/bowzon (fhr might be waste)? Maybe barb in like an Arreat's or Rare/Magic Helm? Shape shifting or elemental druid? poison nova necro? Trapsin(does MPK work with traps?). Maybe it actually sucks. Fill me in people who know much more than me! It just caught my eye a minute ago.

@JocularThanks! I was worried that the dodge/evade/avoid made FHR not useful on Amazons. But I honestly don't know how they work together and I guess the FHR would be completely separate from each of those? But Javazon definitely is the char that MPK works beautifully on. Does anyone know if it works for traps on Assassins? Does that count as your kill or does the trap get credit? I would think the +3MPK could be really nice on characters that you go from Insight to Infinity and need to make up the pretty much unlimited mana pool you're losing now. Fissure Druids, Javazon, Poison Nova Necro, Hammerdin, Nova Sorc or other unique build.. I guess melee relies on ML mainly, so not much use there, unless you had low ML and could use a boost on keeping the bulb full with skills like Whirlwind, Multi Shot, Frozen Arrow, the several Fire Arrow Skills and other attacks that do AoE damage and kill a lot in short order, but cost a lot of mana.

I just really liked how close it was to being a perfect jewel and only missing 1 strength. I appreciate the input, would love more. It's hard to get a grasp on items like these and how much usefulness and value they have.

Although I haven't traded in ages on here and enjoy finding my own items, I always loved trading from back in the b.net days. I know that it is virtually impossible to build something like a perfect PvP character, whether high level, mid level or low level, without trading. And one day I want to make characters that use rare items that are super hard to get and I love the idea of not making characters with the basic cookie cutter gear. I find all rare melee characters to be super super sexy. And since it is like winning the lottery finding some of the top end gear, I hope to find some hard to find rare items that can fetch some goodies. I'm still a long way off though lol.

Posting in the price check thread doesn't seem to garner any responses :(

This is the best thread to get opinions and insight, most likely.

@Jamie Sentry traps & WoF are considered as monsters, so MPK does not work. Same as Facet effects. It will work with FB, SW etc though.

YES! YES YES YES!
5 more to go! finally got that stupid, loooong overdue Unique Ward!!!

PqxPwxH.jpg

jesus christ that took more than a year... puh..

roll was really middle of the pack, what ever the f*ck!
last 5 to go: astreons, deaths fathom, knell striker, tyraels, templars.

holy moly, finally!!

Back to LK to farm a few runes before questing my next two characters through...

Nothing better than a Fal from superchests, but the local corpses sur are helpful.

20190516024410330.jpg

Plus another Sur from a corpse just to the northeast of that hut at the top of the pic 1-2 hours earlier; I forgot to get a screenshot though.

Not a bad start to my serious LK career.

Some interesting rares from Trav.

This one is going to go very nicely with my +5 Tornado pelt. It's almost there!
Code:
Viper Collar
Amulet
Required Level: 51
Fingerprint: 0x17cd3461

Version: Expansion 1.10+
+1 to Druid Skill Levels
+10% Faster Cast Rate
+17 to Dexterity
+22 to Life
+53 to Mana
Poison Resist +27%

And this weird thing. I love twinking rares but I don't think this one makes the cut. Death's combo is too good at this stage and slightly higher rlvl brings more +STR and +Life. Still cool tho.

Travincal Haul coming soon

Thanks to @T72on1 breaking down my Jah for me, I was able to turn the Ber I found from LK last weekish into an Infinity. I was going to try to pursue a 1.07 Polearm, but I figured I would just make it in a 1.14 as everything I currently own on this computer is 1.14d based. On a separate PC I started playing 1.07, but got bored and haven't really accumulated anything worth transferring. Just a separate project for a later date.

Not too bad of a roll, can't be upset about it. The base was a plain Thresher. This is my first Single Player Infinity! Will move to my Trapsin that has my only Enigma for now. Will probably find some time on my Javazon for Hell Cows (I just tried a P5 run with it and the cows just melt with Infinity lol) and may try on my Blizz Sorcer for fun. I am tempted to make a Lightning Sorc or respec for some time, especially having Griffons, but the DFathom I found really early on this time around has me leaning to stick with blizz on her. Plus already have two lightning chars and blizzard sorcy with a strong might merc can handle about any spots in the game. I want to see if Infinity really does much, with cold mastery already doing what Infinity does.
