I had this problem very briefly when I started, too. I'm not sure why it was happening, but I had to exit ATMA and reopen it - maybe even D2 - and then it worked fine and has sinceRecently restarted 1.07, my sorceress is at River of Flame at level 23.
I've run into a small problem though. ATMA V doesn't seem to be working. It claims that it's removing items from my character and putting it into a stash, but the items aren't disappearing from my character. The items aren't being duped either, since when I try to put the items which are supposedly in my stash back onto my character, they don't appear.
Any idea what's wrong?

I saw a question by thefranklin go unanswered. He asked if Windforce could be gambled... does anyone know the answer to this? I know that windforce is supposed to be unfindable through racks/monsters but I know you can buy hydra bows...
I rolled a 29/10 MPK ring the other day, so very happy about that. I've also come to realize that blackhorn's face (champion drop in hall of vaught) does wonders for merc survival against LE bosses... and this is with only ~37% lite res. Does anyone know if it is just as good at stopping MS/LE? I'm under the impression that those bosses only hurt so much because of a multitude of visible and invisible bolts hitting the player.. and not just buffed bolts on their own. So I would expect lite absorb to work!
Thanks, that answers the questionI am pretty sure you CANNOT gamble a set or unique in 1.07. It was a patch note in 1.09 that they added like a 1/100k chance of it in 1.09 (but it never happened for me in 1.09 either).
This is THE merc helm for surviving against MSLE - once the resist is high enough, lightning actually acts like life leech with this helm, so MSLE is like a whole bunch of life leech (but Conviction ruins that, of course).

Ya, that's why I had never heard of the gambling difference. I know the player guide (battlechest) mentions that the chances were reduced (iirc it says reduced, no removed) from classic to expansion but it's not unheard of for that guide to be incorrectRoobyD they migh have changed the odds for gambling them in 1.09. Could that be it?
It would be weird if they removed the chance to gamble sets and uniques in 1.07 LoD and then bring it back in 1.09, since that would be the case. But since the chance was huge in classic they could have done it.
The 1.07 guides don't mention gambling in 1.07 at all.
