What makes you think you can trust anyone at this point in time?

Innocent until proven guilty, or at least so far today, squirming or lurking. There is some interesting conversation going on and I wanna say some people haven't made a post yet. However, I'll wait until the day is halfway up to look at them more. Mafia sometimes put a couple of guys out there to post, make it look like town and the others lurk, sometimes jump on the bandwagon (if there is one) at last minute, not make many or any posts.

I think Cakes asked this and I didn't quote it, but yes, you can trust me. I may be illogical and silly, but underneath that, I am very wise like an owl.

Not long. Laarz asked if there was a possible vendetta from last game, I told him the facts that Gwaihir was the person that sealed the game for the town and I named the mafia from the previous game.

It appears to have hit a nerve with one of them.

Nope. Just letting you know my schedule. We're trying out a new way of handling cases that are sent to us, and I volunteered for first shift, which is today from 8 am to 12 am. Then I have to go and grab the names of some servers and various hardware stuff and prepare that for a meeting from 12 am to 13 am. Afterwards I have 3 laptops I have to start preparing. In other words if things go as I think they will, I won't be around much until closer to 17 pm. In fact I shouldn't be here typing this right now, but posting from my phone on the way to work is... well a PITA (imo).

you'd be surprised about vendettas, Cakes. People carry them from game to game and act upon them. I still don't think I've gotten Sathoris back for the LotR game. Yeah, he was on my list for a long time, lol!

One thing I've noticed (partly thanks to you gory) is that I am scared to commit. I often point out things and wait until other people act on them out of fear of being attacked.

I guess it could be coincidence though, or an honest question. Tbh I was thinking something sort of similar to myself, how many games (out of how many total Laarz have played) have Moar played with Laarz? I have to admit I didn't try and dig up that info.

And what is up with this semi brown-nosing of Gory, sudden hindsight and excuses about flaws about you as a mafia player?

Some thoughts above, for what it's worth. On Cakes/Gory, I find it slightly weird that Gory is pushing Cakes the way he is. He probably sees Cakes post in a completely different way than me though, and also I'm pretty sure a thing or three have flown way above my head.

Ankeli has made all of two posts, unless I missed one. Nothing in them to really form an opinion on, and if we exclude his post about his schedule, then it's only 1 post to go off of. So atm he's unknown. No scum points, but no town points either.

BA has made a few more posts, though none really contributing as far as I can tell. Although tbh that doesn't have to mean much. Heck this is the first post of mine I feel like might contribute something, so not holding that against him yet. TL/DR: Unknown.


I did like thefranklin's poke (if you can call it that) quoted above, even though there are things which can explain that Kegs picked up on the number of games conversation going on.

Also I was quite impressed with SA's post, granted I read it the correct way. If SA keeps that up, he'll definitely move up fast on my possible town list.

2nd + 3rd line: I don't really click on other links or youtube videos, so no. I think it is ridiculous if you think Ankeli was trying to leave some kind of hint with song translated to Latin and loosely applied to the Greek mythology background.

4th line: Nit-picking here, but it was more like: Before Genesis started, "Let there be Noodle"...

5th line: Here is where it gets interesting. Pointing out Kegs point would offend Korial how now? Isn't that what we are supposed to be doing here? I see your huge post as not saying a whole lot either other than "trust Laarz".

Actually yes I am. This is the first game I played in a long time, and I want to try my best not to make any major screwups.

Just based on who stuck out the most, I think I might have to say CG. Even if I've learned nothing else, it would be that fishing is bad, especially on day 1.

Second might be Gory, but only because I can sort of related to Jcakes in the way he posts, even if his reasoning isn't at all as what I described above. This is a super thin stretch though.

I disagree. I'm of the opinion that everyone is guilty until proven innocent, and even then treated with a healthy dose of suspicion. Granted, that's not as catchy as yours, but I think it's more accurate.

Aye indeed it can look that way too. Still we all know there is more than 1 way of knowing if someone can be trusted, and you don't even have to be scum. However no one else would know, and pointing it out like that can lead to some nasty stuff. I know, since I did the same thing in I believe it was the NCIS game. I was doc, someone else was backup-doc and we knew of eachother, but wasn't allowed night talk. If my memory serves me correctly that is. So trying to say Leo is scum, or fishing for roles? Guess people have to make up their own mind about that. Granted I feel better about your earlier post aimed towards Leo now that you explained your reasoning.

Leo being scum is probably the most logical explanation I can see.

If Leo is scum she knows Laarz' alignment is either mafia or not mafia, either way it's safe to defend him.

If Leo is town she may have some kind of role connection where she knows he is town. I find this highly unlikely though, why would she risk outing their roles early in the game like that.

Unless she was just being OT of course, but she didn't claim that at any point since she said it.
