Or maybe, just maybe, I saw a pattern similar to your previous game (in which you were Mafia) with you slipping in a bit of certainly about being is the game Tomorow, and posted wondering about it.
True, but I was also pointing out you may have had different motives, and that is a dangerous question to ask in this game.
Anyways I generally don't plan on being killed as town or mafia, although it could of course happen. It is even less likely now with the 3-way bus driver in play and multiple roles that keep people alive.
I don't think a scum Paris would want a scum BFF since Paris must vote for the BFF at hammertime. Why would scum take that risk?
I don't think it's overpowered if we do the day before roleclaims. How can mafia effectively use the role to save one of their own if the king has to claim? Can't be used before endgame me thinks. Or am I missing something here?
Actually a good point I hadn't thought of for the BFF. As for kingmaker - while true that we should be able to fight it by claims, it makes lylo very, very dangerous.
I don't think killing someone today specifically because they have the role is a good idea, but I would be happy to see it get lynched before the endgame.
Since it will rotate, what can we make of the BFF if in fact he/she remains an anonymous townie. Will they be privy to information in the QT if in fact they do get paired up with mafia Paris?? Even if it isn't specific information it could be things gleaned from the QT conversations. I may be allowing my imagination to run rampant and not understanding what I'm reading. So does anyone see this as valuable or more mindless babbling from boobbucket??
My understanding is a townie would not know if they are matched with mafia. So the two talk at night, but have no idea if they can trust each other.
The BFF claiming could let us work on us confirming they are town. From there, the 'Paris'' of the world (lulz) will know if they can trust him/her or not.
And if we confirm the BFF is town, what does it give us? How would we even try to do that? Really, the huge advantage of a mason group is that they know who some other townies are. Neighbor talking is much less powerful.
