Nope. I've been scum since day 1. Nice try at deflection, though. I retract my earlier statement about flubbucket; I know think you're the recruit.
^The reason it can be effective is for a few reasons, such as someone's behaviour changing drastically from one day to the next (always a weird sign in general - like Noodle) or perhaps someone being the only person with a townie role, like the doc or lawyer. The lawyer would have had to be recruited after he saved ML, but if that were the case, then wouldn't he just try to recruit the cop? No idea.

Those who remained looked sadly at Mel, somone muttered "neurotic girlfriend" and shook their head.
"So what are you going to do now?" she asked, finally. "Turn me over to the police. I have my defence ready. I've helped you all along the way. I'll beat any charge you make."
"Not this one." someone said softly before batting her over the head with a bottle.
Her head crushed like an overripe watermelon, Mel fell to the floor.
"We need to find a less messy way of dealing with these guys."
"Yeah. Sorry"

Frasier pushes through the crowd, who seem be be ignoring him. Focusing their whole attention on the centre of the Bar.
"Let me through. What is wrong with you people?"
"I think he's dead."
"Well I have *some* medical training, if you get out of my way, he might not be!" snaps Frasier.
"Such a tragedy." someone sobs.
"Good grief, you don't think much of my skills do you?", Frasier is exasperated at their immobility and perceived slight of his skills.
He finally gets to the body prone on the floor. It is certainly a body. The arms and legs are at odd angles and yet there is an odd familiarity to it. It might be the suit; a similar cut to the one he is currently wearing.
"Anyone found his head yet?"
"Over here" as someone lifts up a large jar with a head inside.
"Oh my." says Frasier. As he looks at his own head in the jar.
"And I was convinced I was going to die in that bloody emu suit at Eddie's funeral."
