Mafia Game: Cheers/Frasier Theme

I feel a little bad that you got locked so quickly. I would be interested to have a look at who hammered in the lock, becuase one normally leaves people at L-1 to give them a chance to respond to accusations. I am not saying I trust you, but your role claim is a lot more believable now.
It may have been me, although I don't think so. I've been jumping back and forth in this thread (timeline wise) that I voted thinking that there wasn't a large amount of votes on him yet and I was voting b/c I wasn't intending to be here later (planned to go out). If it was me...well I screwed the pooch on that one.

This. It is fairly easy to claim affiliation with a dead person as it is your word against theirs (and they can't speak). Still, based on your play I am inclined to believe you.

If he is pro-town he should have.
Remember that Autti also claimed. And at one point I thought it COULD be, that they are both claiming mason group bc claiming single mason is quite tough when scum, so a group is logical. But...I did not get much scum reads on moar, so I didn't even bother typing it.

@PCM
Again. Can you reveal my mason friends as town if I reveal them?

I don't know the identities of the masons, if they are truly masons. I do have a list of people the mafia apparently could not identify, and so far it isn't really matching up with our masons.

After clarifying, I think I can give you guys the biggest help possible and say that I am 99% sure the mafia have a roleblocker. For once you won't get a name because I don't have one, and I am not allowed to say more, but just heed that warning even if you don't heed any others. If I had to speculate I would say Jcakes claimed an ability he knew we couldn't prove and couldn't be scrutinized. After all, if he only claims to have results against town nobody will ever actually be affected and therefor he will never have to explain. This isn't an OMGUS either, this is a condemned man giving everything to help his town and his team.

Just to confirm, ML. It's "friend" or "foe" you get, right? i'm trying to think of how friend can not represent a town player, but I'm just going to have to assume that neutral is friend by investigation? I don't know. . .

The role should return: pro-town, neutral, anti-town.
My results so far have been: friend, foe, foe.

The role must match the results, so I expect to get a neutral result, or some variation of the word when I catch one.

@Pman: put a vote down on someone you suspect, atleast that gives us something without breaking the rules.

I've been so caught up in this I hadn't even thought of that! It would definitely speak louder than words, eh?

And I'm not casting suspicions on the cop, I'm just working off what I have. There is always a godfather or other explanation.
Vote 1: Malevolent

Your views on JCakes goes hand in hand w/ my analysis of his post. I'll have to dig up your posts to determine what your response to me was.

You bring up a good point. I at once thought that could be a viable option. I had other thoughts in my head about mal though, thanks for bringing this back to light.

Well that's what I got out of your hints;
1. pharphis voted for him 1 or more times (I think I did twice)
2. was investigated but hasn't been proven in any other way
3. Day 1 or 2 this person seemed important.

Now I'm trying to remember what Mal was asking for from someone. A role? based on their speech or something? Bringing it way back to the beginning here.

I say this in case I get killed tonight, Pyro and then Jcakes are highest on my list. If PCM says Mal and flips town, then Mal makes the top of my list.

Mal said it would benefit town if everyone posted their roles.

Could you have been so foolish so early in the game to be investigated on purpose, Mal? (godfather)
Or are you on a different team from the mafia and just made some silly mistakes by accident?

:banghead:

Well, I have to miss the finale because I have to go tutor AT 7. (8 minutes from now).
Here's hoping pcm ended up being scum magically :p
That seems much too unlikely. Way too complicated a scenario to come up with unless he really thought he could be lynch-saved. Maybe he's x-shot lynch immune, and will claim governor saved him? Who knows. I'm much more inclined to believe him at this point, though.

The beginning is always the place to look when in doubt. People show their hand at the beginning. And I have voted.

As long as I'm still alive, I'm going to say that my money is on there being another mafia faction, possibly within the Masons or possibly it is the Masons. That's about all I can come up with, not all of my snippits were valuable. Oh, and beware of those that would try to distract with too much talk about game mechanics. That is both a general warning and a serious avenue of mafia attack.
So yeah, roleblocker, I voted for Mal, and two evil factions. That is all the stuff I would tell you if I could tell you, but you couldn't hear it from me because I didn't hear it from anybody else. Get it? Now buy a drink or get out of my bar!

Go Sox!

He claimed to be a nub and didn't understand the game that well ... since I haven't played with many of you I couldn't comment on that. I did investigate him b/c of that event (say stupid, call nub ... I was curious).

NIGHT FOUR START

Things were getting a little unpleasant during the most recent meeting of Frasier's friends and colleages.

A table few across the Bar, Carla threw a few choice words after it..

"Come on guys, settle down. This isn't getting us anywhere." says Sam, trying to placate the crowd.

"He doesn't belong here, Sam, you know that," someone yells, "best if he just leaves now."

"Well, Donny may not be a regular here, but we could at least show him some courtesy." replies Sam.

"Don't bother," Donny interrupts. "I'm sick of this bunch of drunks, crackpots and weirdos."

The Bar gasps at his rudeness and ducks as stool flies towards him. It hits Donny and then richochets into Sam.

Both are now dead.

"Well, that's a damn shame."

"How about we lock the doors, everyone stays until we know who is really friend and who is foe."

The doors are locked and the patrons eye each other.

Deaths

frozzzen is dead. He was Donny. Anti Town. 2 shot roleblocker
pancakeman is dead. He was Sam. Pro Town. Eavesdropper.

DAY FIVE START

Martin is in tears. "Eddie. Eddie." he sobs while holding a little bundle of fur. "Who could be so cruel? Oh he barked at a few people he thought weren't nice but, he was a good dog."

Diane hugs Martin "Don't worry, we'll catch whoever killed him."

"And thank them." says Carla sotto voce.

It had been a hard night. Pretty much everyone distrusts everyone else now. Even people who have known each other for years are thinking the worst of their former friends. Eddie's lifeless body was the most unpleasant aspect of the evening.

As a tribute to Eddie, who loved to chase birds until they flew off, the whole Bar dresses up in costume to send him off. Unfortunately the only costumes available were Emus. It turned what could have been a beautiful tribute into a bit of a shoddy farce.

It was turning more into a wake with every passing day.

Deaths

MartinLong is dead. He was Eddie. Pro Town. Cop

That was expected. So in a way I guess we can be thankful there was only one death. My guess is we had a save or both factions went for the cop (so as not to risk the other thinking the other would do it).

I can get onboard with Aunt Jemima man's last hurrah. I'm also gonna throw a vote at the "role blocker" from yesterday. What a load of baloney!!

Vote 1: Malevolent

Vote 2: Jcakes

I'm going out on a limb here. Actually, no I'm not, if PCM can be trusted.

I have got not a clue about a Vote 2, but:

Vote 1: Malevolent
