The Noodle Compound V. 2.0

Re: The Noodle Compound

 i miss my hair. i don't look good with short hair. makes me face appear fatter. it was so long and pretty too! :weep:

It's why I'll never cut mine! Also because when I was young my mother forced me to wear my hair short because she hated my hair (or me, never quite figured that one out), but lately I've come to realise she's very jealous of my hair. I've got great dark curls.

me too!! wanna see? :D

i've always had long hair. one of the few times i had it cut short was because i put black women's hair chemicals in my hair to chemically straighten it ("Because it works for my friend who has kinky hair like you, Leo!" said my aunt. -.-) and because white people hair is different from a black person's, it fried my hair and started to fall out. so for about the next year or so i had to have short hair and regrow it out. thankfully, Mom didn't put it at my roots.

Morale of the story? Never listen to your aunt when it comes to hair care. ;) ESPECIALLY if her hair is nothing like yours! lol!

My aunt's advice was pretty sound - in many ways I have the genetic structure of my fathers side of the family, as a result there's a limit to how long my hair will become. It's about 7 inches from the shoulders but it curls up, esp with rainy weather.

Re: The Noodle Compound

Is it me or is the Compound extra zesty today?

zesty like Italian dressing!

That looks eerie.

it exists. O.O

edit: Vivi, i have a lot of my father's genes too (only person in the fam with light-colored eyes) and his hair and his father's hair is wiry, thick, and curly. and since i live in South Texas where there is always humidity, my hair usually has little frizzy flyaways. my hair curls up too when it dries after being wet.

Re: The Noodle Compound

I got the worst set of genetics my parents could come up with (see my endless rants about my medical issues elsewhere), but great hair. But aye, frizzy. I wash it every day, put leave in conditioner in and put it up in a bun. Makes it more managable the next morning.
