Au contraire - I found two items worthy of socket/personalizaition in Act One. They are not so great as to guarantee it, but I have yet to find anything to replace them in my stash.

It will be very interesting when this tournament progresses into Nightmare; I certainly hope we have some oddball character builds (Hell-worthy, but non-cookie-cutter).

I'm in the exact opposite position -> I've only found one item worth keeping at all, and even that one's not all that great. Maybe I'm just too picky though. :whistling:

Amidala is also waiting in hell. She's very warm there - they even built a fire at the Pandemonium Fortress (just to chase away the remaining chills).

Mephisto was a little tricky, but I am pleased with her potential.

Palpatine is resting within the Pandemonium Fortress. Also, I'm glad to see that Vader and Amidala are still alive and well. :)

Ouch! Its unlikely that anyone will ever accuse you of having hacked those gloves, lol. I'm assuming that that last mod is "Poison Length Reduced by 25%?" - which is one of the only two mods that even matter on that raggedy imbued item.

Dorme has dispatched Mephisto and waits in Act 4. Travincal turned out to be a much better use of time than LK.

Mothma the amazon is now waiting in act 4.

I didn't mean to cause any trouble! I just was confused how Mothma had two rare items equipped when I got her as I didn't know how that could work with the rules. So after asking Skunkbelly, I put them in the stash and just used white items for those equipment while I played. Now I know, but now she's done with Act 3 and ready to be passed on!

Beru is through act 3. Didn't have a ton of time to focus on her progress lately, but she's ready to move on.

Well thats a shame, I guess zealots can be fragile. I did feel Wendu had quite a bit too many skill points allocated when I got him. I'll post some info about what he was in my hands when i get a chance.

I think that my mistake was to take Zeal as my power instead of Holy Freeze, but I think underlevel character was also one reason for the death.

I was doing the Act III on /p1 with the idea that after I've killed Mephisto I run LK on /p7 for experience & goods. But a doll in Durance level 2 did Wendu in. Don't even know how that happened as normally when I heard those little feet ticking away I stopped attacking and let my merc do the killing.

When I got Wendu he was leverl 25 which IMHO is quite low and had a superior scepter with 2os & +1 to Holy Freeze in his hand. It took three visits to Drognan to get a grand scepter with +2 to Holy Freeze, why hadn't the previous owner done that.

Curiously he only had skill points put into defensive auras even though act II player could have put them into prereqs like Zeal and Holy Freeze. He also had crappy charms, so I had to dig deep to get his resistances up.

The last point btw. is the one I meant when I suggested that we could keep our charms. I like to have good resistances on my HC characters, but it seems that others don't. This meant that both characters that I sent out had some resistances as I sent those charms with them. But it also meant that I didn't get characters with lots of resistance charms on them. I was already dreading the moment when I get my Act IV character, with no resistance charms in inventory and I'm out of mine.

So I had Wendu in Act 2. This is what he looked like when he left my hands:

I will admit I hurried through Act 2, but I didn't feel he was underleveled at 25 with just a couple kills to reach 26. I tried shopping Drognan quite a few times but only got three white Holy Freeze Scepters. Only one of them was +2 but that cost more gold than I had at the time as it had two other +3 skills on it. I figured the 2OS would be pretty decent if someone were to get an Amn later on to make Strength. I also passed on all of the resist charms that I found except for two fire res ones that I saved for Act 4. Mephi doesn't have a fire attack, so I figured he should be ok between his already decent resists and the gear upgrades to be had in Act 3 (specifically the crappy jewelry).

When I got him, I was really surprised by the amount of Skill assignment that had been done in Act 1. Someone really want him to be a frost/lightning zealot as all 20 points were already spent in the res auras. I only had 6 points to play with, and nowhere that useful to spend them. I added one point to Smite since I think it is a good emergency skill. And I put my prereq into Might to get more damage against cold resistant enemies and because I figured the next player would go for Holy Freeze given that would free up the weapon slot, and zeal isn't so easy to run before mana leech becomes available late in Act 3 usually. I apparently guessed wrong :whistling:

For Act 2, I ran a Prayer merc because I am anal about keeping my life topped off. I switched out to a Blessed Aim at the very end because I thought it would be a better choice in the long run.
