if you have both fury and chaos in suwayyah, you can't reach 9 frame without BoS and huge sacrifices in dr% and resists.
you should swap suwayyah fury for runic or feral and then wsm bug (if you choose feral, you'll need highlord or ias jewel in your circlet)

i emphasize more on physical dmg, but still don't have decent fools claw for high def opponents...

i have:
- 30ias fools runics with 2 sockets (filled with um runes)
- and recently i found 30ias fools feral with 293ed and only 1 free socket.
Oh the irony; both are decent claws ^^.

The first is basically the typical Fools you want anyway, and the second has a high ED on it. Even with one socket, it's great.

I'd probably end up choosing the second one. :)

I got abit confused as many other noobs got when comming to clawbugging for WSM. Here is my situation, I have made two Suwayya claws with Fury and Chaos
where both claws are pritty good ( Fury - 3DF - 3Venom - 3 WB ) ( Chaos 340ed - 3 LS - 3 Venom - 3 MB ) However, I would like to know your tip of reaching the 9frame cap with these two? DO i have to switch out one claw for a runic talon and clawbug? Or can I fix it with a Highlord + Ias jewel in headitem? Should I switch both my claws?

What is your suggestion when it comes to this?
If you run Highlords regularly, you get a base of 60IAS to work with.

Suwayyah + Suwayyah would need more (40 ish more, so pretty hard to do).

Suwayyah + Feral (WSM Bugging) is -30, so you need 42 IAS (the 60% covers it). The feral is stronger than a runic, and since speed is covered, you can get by with at least that and a runic for WSM bugging.

I would keep the Chaos as the claw you use.

Thanks for informative replys, however I have two more noob questions to ask before im done.

1st: If i clawbug and die, does that mean that ill have to do it again? Even if I didnt switch weapon before/after doing it the last time before my death?

2nd: WoF stunlocking, got me quite curious, so I brought a friends necro ( Close to naked ) into a game where I wanted to see if skill lev1 WoF would stun him if hitted, and afaik he and I know he didnt recive any stuns, he was free to run around and never got a stun animation on his char, he also tested on a Paladin with 20% fhr in total, and still no effect. Is this changed in 1.13? Or is my noobness missing something here? :o

1: yes.

2: did you hit him with a mindblast? you need to get the swirlies over their heads, then any time they make a damage check, they go into FHR.

I was browsing old chars and found Chaos wielding sin there. Gear wise I'm good to go, just need Fury and the boots. It might take a while for insane rares to drop so I though about boot crafting. But which type, bloods?

If you can't get the FHR / res rares you need, Treks can give you the FHR and a little life.

I managed to find myself two good Feral Claws which I bought, and was wondering with Chaos and Fury in those gives me a total of 75%ias all in all on both claws. Following this guide i should have a AWSM on -20 which makes me require 56%ias or w/e.

So with these claws WSM bugging aint requried?

If I managed to understand this right then big cheer for noob legue :)

Only the primary claw can add IAS. The other, secondary claw, will not add the IAS to the required total.

Still seeking Res boots but using Gores atm. I have 40 FHR from circlet and rest from charms so that's pretty much covered.

Other thing about weapons... I have Chaos in feral claws (off hand) and in main 2 choices: Fool's greater claw with 40% IAS 2 MB and Fool's claw with extra 23 ar and ITD. Now I think ITD (and -25 def if I eth it) doesn't effect in PvP but why would Grief be considered bm in some melee circles if it didn't work?

Hmm, FHR seems covered, but just in case, if you find 20% on boots, you can replace the Shael with some + life and / or res (it seems you need res, so probably look for that first).

Gores are certainly ncie boots for a little OW and maybe DS if you need it, but the res boots will probably be best once you find some :)

Correct on ITD; it won't work in pvp.

-Enemy Def% is cut in half, but works on total def (unlike skill affecting the skill's boost %).



For Grief, it's BM in melee because it'll trigger Venom (low res, it'll be huge damage with the further -res.) They (usually) have a set elemental damage limit, and venom would be a huge amount to a melee char.

Just curious what physical damage (going with the physical damage build) should I be aiming for with 30x max/ar/life scs, 2x shadow lifers, and and non e glitched Chaos Suwayyah/Feral Fury?

:S That'd be hard to say. The screen (before venom) shows maybe 1-2.5K. Most of that is phys, the rest is the elemental damage on claws, raven, etc.

Question. So I've acquired the following claws:

How should I set up my claws? If I use 2 suwayyahs, the chaos and the fury, then I'll be too slow on traps no? But at the same time is 9 frame trap speed really necessary? Help me with my build please!

Rest of my gear I plan is according to the guide: Enigma, 2/20/Dex/AR circlet, Raven, 10% FCR ring, Arach, Trang's gloves.

Left are: Claws, Amulet, and Boots. I'm thinking Highlord's for Amulet and Trek's for boots? Help!

2x Suwayyah will indeed be too slow for traps, which are definitely important.

I'd set it up with the Chaos Suwayyah + Wraith Song. That'll have a WSM (bugged) of -30, so using Highlords gets you the max speed for traps.

Trek's should work fine.

Hey there.
Just a little question I could not find myself a sufficient answer for.
I currently have access to a 40ias 2os runic fool's and a 30ias +2sin +2ls feral fool's. With WSM bugging I hit 9frame traps with both, so thats not that much of a deal. However, I was wondering how much of a difference 25% to 50% OW was, since I'm fairly new to this char and didn't see that much of a change in damage.
Am I right to assume that the lower chance is compensated by the better mods?(venom oriented) Or should I go for the 50% instead.

If it was just +2 to a tree I'd say no, but since it's +2 sin, I'd say it's worth using.

I just got back to the game, used to run a ghost a few years back with much success.
However I can't for the life of me remember where you checked how much DR fade was giving you.

At what skill level does it give 50 dr?
