right now my basic setup is

2skill/20fcr/ll/resist helm going to socket with a sheal rune for now till i buy 2 fhr shadow gcs.

29 res maras.

mp enigma.

arach.

treks.

trang gloves.

Ravenfrost+10fcr str mana resist ring.

feral fury and runic chaos.

9x shadow gc some with minor mods

sin torch and anni

with this setup i get the 65 fcr and 48 fhr bp

but i need to find a way for a bit more attack rating

after i get the fhr gcs i can use a 15 ias jewel if i need too

and i have 8 skill points left would that have any major effect on shadow master?

Well, the first thing I saw was that you have -25 awsm, so you need 52% for the 9 frame trap. With Fury as the main, you'd need 12% ias.

Just 8? Mm, probably not a big impact, but she'd be stronger. 8 Point would only get 1, maybe 2 % in WB, so I'm thinking the master.

If I use a Suwayyah Chaos (35ias) + Feral Fury (40ias) and WSM bug it,
I will reach 4 frame ww AND 9 frame trap laying?

Or do I need more ias?
Confused b/c Tienje mentioned to include a 15ias jewel in venom build AND 20ias (from highlord's) for the physical dmg build--so since he had additional ias for both builds, I thought an additional 15+ias is needed.

suwayyah + feral bug to -30 WSM, which needs 42 IAS for 9 FPA traps

WW will be fine

Also, I really can't decide which setup to go with (for ammy and helm):

[Mara's + circlet w/ 15ias/15res-all jewel] OR [Highlord's + circlet w/ jah]

my rare circlet is: +2 Sin, +52 ar, +13 Dex, 20% Faster Cast Rate, +8 to Minimum Damage

w/ the first setup, +skill and high res
w/ the second setup, ds and high life

Most of my equip don't give life, so I'd prefer the 2nd setup, but then again, my res would be so low (~40-50)
I'm really not sure which setup to go with

What do charms look like? Often, they fill in the life / res holes.


I like option 2, but if life or res becomes an issue, 20/5 cover that aspect.

yes, I think i will go w/ the 2nd setup.
i hav a lot of ar/life charms. 20/5s are too expensive for my budget. :'(
I think ill just cover res by getting ~4 lite-res/life + ~4 fire-res/life scs.
(ive enuf cold, poison res already)

Also, I was wondering: md/ar/life > ar/life scs?
ar/life scs give more ar, but do those max dmgs make a big difference?

single res will work, but I think res in the helm would help too. What life do you get anyway?

The dmg/ar is better, but you definitely have to build for a phys sin. Those get expensive, and if you can't get 20/5, I doubt you can get much 3/xx/xx. What skills / gear?




Res vs trapsins is 75 res. You don't require any stack against them, just max res.

Arg, I thought I was set, but now I'm confused.

Do we want a slow Fury or fast Fury? I was set on a slow Fury so I could bug the AWSM. But then somebody said I should have a fast fury to use as a MH so I can get the bonuses from it. Which is correct? Do I still get all the bonuses if I bug WSM?

To WSM bug, it puts a fast claw as a primary claw. This is the one you want the AR bonuses from (fools' ar by level or a Fury's AR%).

You want a fast Fury, ideally, a Runic Talon.

The slow claw is offhand, so is a Chaos. By slow, I don't mean a Feral, I mean Suwayyah slow. Feral bugging with a Runic is hardly much, but noticeable. The usual -30 requiring 42 IAS is instead -35 and needs 34 IAS (A Fury Runic bugging the Feral Chaos you have hits the 9 frame traps, so still usable).


To get bonuses, it usually is depended on being primary (IAS, AR, etc).

Hmm, I do have a Fury Sissors Suwayyah, what if I just cleared the runewords, made Chaos in the Sissors Suwayyah, and Fury in the Feral... My reasoning behind this being, with a slow Sissors Suwayyah Chaos, it would leave my options for a Fool's claw much wider.

It pulls the 40% ias from Fury correct?

I use highlords as an ammy, so that should cover the rest of the ias.

It's a pvp build and honestly, it doesn't really do very well pvm wise. At best, you could wack at the ancients to see how you fair against medium defense opponents (starts at ~2-3K, then shout, so expect descent def).

Ancients(Hell) have about 1400 def and with Madawc's lvl 12 shout(Hell), its arround 4.4k def. So just barb and pala have more in nature.
