as an update to anyone who cares, my sin is lvl 67 and holding now. she's beaten and run baal a few times, but i'm still in a holding pattern for now. i kinda wanted to try out that bone mancer that was posted as well as have it on hand to rescue gear if worst came to worst on my sin. he's in act 5 progressing well, i think that he's either just beaten ancients or that's the next tast to preform (he's in nm too btw think mid 50s). ive also dragged a mule with me so i'll be able to get an extra forge. all in all i'm doing alright. only can gear one of the characters "well." i have an insight in an exceptional polearm as well as a spirit, smoke and rhyme. i pretty much keep those 3-4 pieces on whatever character i'm screwing with at the time. my experiment goes well and hope to find a wand to put white in for my nec soon and that'll be the time i level him up and go on to hell with both of them.

Got all the way to good old Dia, but after he himself almost hosed me out of existence...I needed a new strategy: A Party!!
A public game "Travi gogo" was choosen, my plan was to rush these people to act4 to have some backup. It all went accordingly to the plan until we entered Travincial - the picture is a result of a barb in stunlock from Wake of Fire, obviously hitting "escape" just a tad bit late:

I've taken a little time out due to some other priorities right now but I can't wait to start questing my Trapsin through NM. And I agree, this is a pretty good thread, good reads! Thanks to all that have contributed so far :thumbsup:

i started hc a few weeks ago and have managed to get my trap assa to level 80 with great difficulty and have killed baal hell. i find it very boring to play alone but its the only safe way. i would love some trust worthy players to play with even startin from level 1 again. please if your playin europe hc exp add me before i go crazy or tell me where to look for passworded games with less chance of being tppk'd :banghead:

The barb was only lvl15 (me lvl27, *Edit: 0 free stat points), but since my only good item is my hawkmail I should be a easy kill for a half decent low pk barb. Guess he forgot his fire resistance or something :whistling:

My Trapsin is now lvl 47 (NM) and in Act 2. She easily took down Radament with my Act 1 bow merc that I still have and my Shadow. But, I now have a dilemma that I need a few opinions on. I've dragged my Bow merc with me from normal into NM, she's equipped with an Edge Long Bow, Rare Curass, Rare Helm. there is no such thing as a conviction merc. there is a merc weilding the infinity runeword that will grant the conviction aura however. what my trapper has been using is a prayer merc along with insight. works great, though when i move on to hell i'll probably switch to holy freeze over prayer.

The reason I only have life pots, is that I need to keep my merc alive. I have found Ral, Tir, Tal, Sol, and a 4soc Halberd :tongue: (Had to make it in whatever I could find.. my 110 mana needs constant refilling, so getting a lvl17 medi aura roll made me quite happy). Found the Sol in WSK doing reruns on Baal in normal. Now I just need another Sol so I can make me a Lore circlet

here's her minus a few pieces of gear for the nec. check out the circlet! if i remember correctly i got it from normal diablo. not for sure but i know i got it long before i met the level req. teleport has only gotten me into trouble once. i definitely use it carefully and most of the time only through to where i know i'm safe.

i've been super lucky finding the runes i need. i had enough sols to make insight and lore. also have made rhyme, smoke, spirit, stealth. i mean really, really lucky finding what i need. now i need to find dol and io for white. my necro is struggling to kill some things to get that first body to drop, white would help that a lot. a good head would be in order, especially since i just got another lum and could make splendor in it

I had to create my first mule in HC. I've been gathering alot of the low runes and gems found along the way during my game play and my stash is completely full. Since this is my second (or third) HC character, I've been wondering what others do with the rare, unique, and nice blue items they find along the way?
Me personally, I didn't expect to live as long as I have. I have not joined public games since I past lvl 25. Many of the things I find now (mostly unuseable rares) I either sell or leave on the ground. What does most everyone do with their things when they become of no use in HC?

I just took care of Mephisto. Nice drop of rares but the items were not that great. The circlet was a +2 Bone and Poison for a Necro.
