Ever since patch 1.12 was released you could play D2 without a CD, as long as you copied all the MPQ's from the game. You don't need any third party programs for that anymore.

Its the loader!! You pay for the game you pay for another 2 copies(orig&expansion) for the CD-Keys. Then you lose it all cause of the cheating b*****s. Blizz could have been more selective!! Or hit the bots!!!!!!!

Wow!
It appears I was very lucky today, my main accounts are banned. But because I was playing the game at the moment of banning I was still logged in on my main account and I was able to mule this entire account onto another account that I just made, also thanks to a very kind etf-er.
I really don't care about the chars, I can easily rebuild them, but it's kind of difficult to get all those nice gear back. Thank God I was able to take my good gear from the banned account.

All my accounts have been closed. Now I do not use anything like d2loader or mh. Noone but me has ever used my accounts (except of course mule trade accounts). I have only ever played on my 2 computers on which I have 2 sets of keys (both purchased).
So what is going on ?
Time for a class action lawsuit ?
Actually it's much easier in Australia. I can make a free complaint to the Office of Fair Trading which is large expensive pain for companies. I'll give them 24 hours first to reverse their error.

Some guy at d2jsp claims it's not about d2loader, but the fact you're using more than one copy of the game. :S

after accessing 3 of my accounts blizzard warmly greeted me with such messages ^_^
If you got banned, that means you are bound to have used a 3pp. it doesn't have to be a hack, may be some kind of fix (yes there are such things) but the chances of you doing that are very very slim which leaves you with the use of hax. just so happened that blizzard ran warden and swiped all of ya and me included. I'll just start over i guess, theres nothing you can do now, except not let the past repeat.

That might explain it. Although I am not using any tools. What I am using is "windows" and a "network" and 2 computers. The router will nat the 2 computers so they would look like one address, but there are no tools involved.

Which is what alot of families that have more than 1 child and more than 1 computer would also be doing. I find it difficult to believe that Blizzard would be punishing these people simply because they're using only 1 Internet connection to connect to battle.net.

If this is true, this sucks major ***. I'm probably not going to bother playing D2 anymore.
This may explain why several of my accounts have been banned because I have multiple cdkeys that I use to hunt for Anni and/or spam in channel while I also idle in game for trades.

looks like major bannings for d2loader. darn i never thought they'd ban people for that. i mean back in the day when i was botting and haxing left and right I have not been banned and here they ban for little help that around half of battle.net community is using? wow, i guess the servers are pretty much ready to take on Diablo 3 that's for sure XD

lol, this is nothing man, i just went on d2jsp and found a thread where a guy was making fun of people that got banned. well, he actually just posted once and there were 4 pages worth of laughter from raging nerds. it was simply comical, i had a very good laugh at that. simply hilarious.

I concur. Even though 'it could' be through. If you read b.net's terms it simply states that you're only allowed to have one connection to b.net.
But for now, let's say it's d2loader. It appears most people that gotten banned used that program or used it in the past.
