Re: I have some questions about ZonFire's Hero Editor V0.96, but...
From the top of the page: "Please do not post links or information about hacking/warez/cheats."
From the rules:
"5. Thou Shalt Not Pimp or aid the Pimping of hacks, Cheats or Farming.
Hacks and Cheats are 3rd party programs that allow you to alter the way a player interacts with a game. This includes, but not restricted to Maphack and Pindlebot. We do not support the use of these. You may not ask for help in creating a hack/cheat, a link to where you can find one, provide a link to where people can download one. However, the morality of using these programs is sometimes discussed and we allow these [within reason], unless it violates any other rule."
Please realize that you have very recently joined a community with a long history, and that there are rules and a sense of morality regarding cheating, such as with a hero editor. It seems unrealistic to me to expect to instantaneously change long-accepted guidelines for conduct.
The Single Player community is proud of playing without cheats, hacks, or duplicated items, and many of us play Single Player instead of battle.net specifically to get away from the rampant use of dupes, bots, and other cheats. We do not consider Single Player play to be a mere testing ground for online play.
What you do on your own pc is up to you, but what you post on these forums involves the greater forum community. Please note that if you choose to use an editor, you will not be allowed to trade or play with the Single Player community here.
Best of luck to you.
