Just a quick question, rule #5 says no using the stash in town and I certainly have not been, but I got to wondering whether it would be in the theme of the tournament if you could use it at legitimate, mandatory town visits?
By mandatory I mean when you go to a new act, when you kill Fangskin, etc, but specifically NOT when you restart the game after save and exit?
I think this would be kinda cool, because you would still have to be very strategic with your usage of it, because once something is in there you can't touch it for a while, potentially past where you may need it (if you're not careful).
Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there as a point of discussion.![]()
There was a discussion about this after the first All Alone tourney, I believe, and it was decided against allowing the stash in town. I agree with you that it would require VERY careful planning to be effectively used (in fact, it might even hurt you if you put too many potions in and run out during battle). Perhaps it will change in another tourney, but as this one has already started, it's not fair to everyone already entered.
now the question, because this death is because of the lag (if there wasn't any lag I would have noticed I was getting shot at), do I have to start over again?
only lvl 8 so wouldn't be such a big prob.![]()
Sorry, but you're going to have to start over. If I make exceptions (even when they would be justified) for one person, I'd have to make them for everyone. I don't know if this would have helped, but if you just push Esc (don't exit) but sometimes I can wait out the minute or so of lag and just alt+tab out and do something else until it passes, then resume my game.
Just a note, I'm working during most of the day, and around this time of day is the earliest I can get to a computer to answer questions, so if it's a very important question, sorry I can't get an answer to you sooner. Now that the questions are answered, RIP to you guys! Sorry to hear that so many are dying this early.
edit: just saw your question Silverslasher
Suprisingly, shadow master isn't useful against andy. It dies so fast from poison, that I just wasted a bunch of mana summoning it then gave up and meleed andy to death. There are some differences between the two in how their resists and physical resist is determined, but the main difference is that shadow master can only use the two skills you currently have active, while shadow warrior can use any assassin skill (except a few like shadow warrior, etc.) I believe if you were to max them both, the shadow warrior would have more hp, but the shadow master would be stronger and tougher.Hoping for level 18 before andy so I can get shadow warrior to help. Shadow master is better to get for a trapper right? I keep forgetting their differences.
