Yeah the LL is ridiculous but the ring offers only Str and LL. There are better ones in the SPTF
So the stats that make it are the Automods : 2- 6LL, and 15 to 25 Life. The life mod disappears and ends up getting added to LL. I am not sure what triggers it. I know that it is uncommon but not extremely rare. It is possibly an affix combo or a combo of an affix and certain skill charges with the rolled affix. The very experienced 07 players may know more. Because the Lvl Req is 87 it will be a while before it is useful on a character.

It's triggered by rolling a leech affix on a 1.07 blood craft... with a lifeleech affix, the automod leech is added, and it ALSO adds the +life to the leech%... with a manaleech affix, the automod lifeleech gets added to the manaleech instead, but NOT the +life (sometimes the +life disappears anyway, but its never added to the manaleech...) As there are no leech affixes for belts, boots, or armor, those recipies will never trigger this.

Started on Meph today, he didn't give up the goods. Wasn't feeling Countess runs, and LK runs were as stingy as usual. Swapped to AT/ST and I think it is going well:
Ammy was a +27 Mara's, Facet was a godawful roll (3/3/die) but eh, a facet is a facet. Also a BK sword and a couple more grailers. I'm just happy with that double pop from the same unique pack.

speaking of ridiculous items that most people here will never have, want, or possibly just haven't realized they wanted yet, I had a unicorn, an unfathomable thing, conglomerate of some of the most prized (or at least just stupidly rare) items to be dropped in a patch from the days of yore.
It was a dream, a fevered delirium of a madman... until I had a birthday, recently. You may not see how that corresponds, but that's only because I have not told you yet. On this particular day, my sibling did hatch a most devious plot, a plot to drag me back into the burning hells of this grindfest of a game... a most effective plot it was. For the undiscerning eye, that is a 1.10s "Call To Arms" in a +15%ED Superior +3B&C Grand Matron Bow, which happened to roll +290%ED(MAXIMAL) and +14 BO (max-1)! The other rolls are really good as well, making this pretty much the biggest single possible upgrade to one of my favorite chars... my fishyzon, Matriarch TunaTits.
So I take her new plinker for a turn... and quickly realized breakpoints changed severely with the GMB over Mat Bow... so we enter stage 2, which involved getting Attack Speed back to a respectable level, handily accomplished by:

I'm on the move with my would-be-UT99er Lightning Sorceress! As previously reported, I got off to a good start (in terms of item finding) with three TC 87s in the first two hours. Things have slowed down a bit, but I'm still finding some stuff that's keeping me happy!

been running a foh-din the last week on players 3 chaos sanctuary with an act 2 merc and infinity and then trying an act 5 barb merc with grief/lawbringer. Both mercs have their strengths and weaknesses.
it's a bit more fun and probably more "effective" playstyle, for me, than a hammerdin. I get tired of spamming hammers in a circle sometimes.
So, after a long, long drought (in my mind) I managed to have a Ber drop a few days from some rando monster and then a Jah from Diablo himself, which shocked me, mouth hit the floor. Wow.
rng is rng. You want drops then just play more lol.

Found a nice little bonus while levelling my fire sorc in the stony tomb....

it's an ohm thing ... y'know the thinking that we all have is when an ohm drops is "dang ... another ort! wished it was an .. o-h-m ... wtf? really? holy crap ... "
I'm slowly being converted. Chaos sanctuary is relatively effective. Lately, I've been running AS for keys and that's okay ... but my fohdin isn't the best for non-key drops when using lawbringer on act5 merc offhand because it pushes away the ghosts off the tracks where they no-drop ... otherwise It's a super safe build and powerful on players 1-3ish.
With Chaos all being undead and demons (apart from the beetles) it's a good farming spot.
