TC I am sorry because of the amount of effort which you must have put into this.

However, it wasn't one post, it was several. The apology was nothing more than another attack; the wording betraying it's insincerity. Attacking one's mafia post history and voting behaviour is one thing ... this was completely different and in my view uncessary. If he had posted "You're dumb because you're English" or "You're just throwing a tantrum because you're black" then we wouldn't even think that was part of the game. Neither was this.

I've seen this behaviour before and I don't care for it which is why mafia is not run in the SPF.

Check the thread I linked to: somewhere ZY posts "Crap or get off the toilet" to someone who threatened to kill themself but didn't. I don't say I'm going to do something and then not.

1) I sent a PM to TC before I posted saying I'm out
2) I posted twice - "I'm out"
3) I edited a post deliberately against the rules
4) Far as I'm concerned when I did (3) I'm dead and shouldn't even be posting this.

I'm out.

The only thing I have to say about that TC is yes he apologized then said it was her fault that she didn't take it the way he meant it but the way he said it. Not really an apology just saying *I'm sorry but its your fault really*

I have to agree that Ankeli was out of bounds with his posts and his apology was extremely insincere

I have taken a decision based on Thyiads post and others so far.
A PM to Orphan has been sent. If he deems any sorts of punishment necessary, I will support. If, however, he doesn't take any action, I will let you all, the players, take any measures you see fit, within the boundaries of the games rules (I can also give him a post restriction, since I love restrictions). But before that, please give Ankeli a word in this.

I don't know. I just gave the possibility. More of a joke really. But if the town sees this as the best way of punishment (if any should be needed) it is a possibility.

Yikes, Thyiad you had to bring up 'that' game so long ago where my behaviour was terrible. I made amends right after but I'm still embarrassed that you brought that up. Lesson learned kids: when things get heated that lead to personal attacks and insults, step back and take a breather; this is a group game for enjoyment for all, not a means to go wild on someone. Sometimes you can get caught up in the moment and forget oneself.

Totally off the game topic:

It's a game and not supposed to be personal.

It's a shame when people carry it beyond it just being a game but on the same point, it takes two to tango. It's on both of them for letting it carry to this point, as TC could have been contacted with a problem before hand.

We're all adults, why not act as such?

Hands up which one of you is mafia! That posting order is the work of the dark arts.....



Its a cunning idea the hands up part I think (copyright Ivan Inc) - slight crimp in the plan is they would have to write out the hand in the air part .... but you never know!
