Still not sure ... and I would prefer not to throw my vote around while uncertain, but that jab at, and Thyiad's "female tantrum" did catch my eye.

Something is fishy about it all, and I'm also starting to doubt Ankeli. Either you have nothing to fear from the mafia or you're ready to take one for the team ... leaning towards the former atm, but still undecided.

FYI to everyone, before I forget. I'm leaving for NEAF tonight and will be there all weekend. I'll be able to read via my smartphone, but may not make substantive posts until evenings EST time. Luckily Saturday is 2nd half Day 2, and I will make sure to be on the lynch train for either Ankeli or Noodle before the end of the day, and Night will be until Sunday afternoon, by which time I should be on my way home.

There's no need to get insulted by it. It wasn't intended as an insult, just an observation of your behaviour. If you did get that offended by what I said I apologize, and ask that you wouldn't leave the game for it.

Your posts are often abrasive but your posts in this game were so unpleasant that I have no wish to continue.

If you believe that your posts were not insulting you are as ignorant as you are arrogant. You made several unpleasant and generalized posts typifying my behaviour purely on gender. How anyone can fail to identify that as insulting - before posting it - defies words.

I have no interest in apologies; they are generally offered without sincerity by those too lazy to think before they act.

My reasons for voting against you is this:

I have to say Sathoris and Ankheli aren't my favourite people because I am suspicious about anyone saying ignore some of the game mechanics. That seems counter-intuitive to a win. (For the town.)

I am suspicious of the two votes that have been made already.

Now what do you do? I give you a free vote against someone you think is mafia and you turn it down?! You're all about confusing the town, you aren't pro-town.

I've said it once, I'm telling you again; put up or shut up. You are so convinced I'm a threat then kill me. If you don't have the bottle to do that then you aren't pro-town you're deliberately keeping mafia alive which is an anti-town action.

You aren't the doctor. You're mafia. If you were the doctor you'd be dead by now. Your mafia buddies aren't going to kill you. No one with a brain would counter claim THEY are the doctor because it puts a big fat target on their head.

No ankeli, you were dirty at the start of this and you're dirty now. Asrrin thought you were dirty and he's dead (posts 340-360 ish).

Your votes: Gorny then ITY then Noodle. Day two ITY then Val. You can't even stick to one target.

ITY and myself both said we didn't belive Val should be lynched. So you're going after the two people who were right when we said it was a bad lynch? Oh yah. Mafia bell!

You couldn't be any more plainly mafia if you went out and bought a T-shirt that says mafia scum.

Seriously now, we need to take a decision that will not affect anyone and get this game going until the end. We all hate when games end up prematurely and I for one would be very disappointed if anyone took any decisions not to play again or that my time spent on hosting this game ended up in a feud between players.
Thus, I have decided, as the games host to let you people decide what should be done about this.
1. Should we accept Thyiads resignation and carry on?
2. Should we punish Ankeli somehow? Be it modkilled, lynched or a nasty post restriction?
3. Other (specify)
I would prefer that this vote be public, but if you have any reservations, PM me and I will list all your concerns at the end anonymously.

Also, keep in mind, and this has been said before, this is a mafia game. Words will be said, insults will be made in the interest of getting reactions. At the end of the day, no one should hold any grudges nor be offended. We are all here to have fun, blow our brains out and eat pop corn.

I would also like to mention, that so far I agree with both Thyiad and Ankeli, to some extend. That is why I will not take a decision before hearing what everyone else has to say. I am also willing to let this day run for 72 hours again to clarify this situation if needed. I will not however be prepared to end this game prematurely as that would be a waste of everyones time.

And that's a good thing that everyone should do when playing these kind of games. Never take anything being said here personal. Remember the Vanilla Ice game I hosted a while back? Things were said there too and no one got offended.

I've sent Thyiad a PM asking her to take part in this conversation. I am willing to bend the rules and let her live if she chooses to continue the game (if there are no objections).

Regarding the going too far part. I somewhat agree that it was harsh what Ankeli did. But I also believe that the whole situation is a bit exaggerated. Ankeli apologized and I believe he honestly meant it. We are all grown ups here that can admit a mistake.
What I would pretty much like is for both Ankeli and Thyiad to shake hands, vote for each other and continue this game as it didn't happen.

Oh for crying out loud, where were all these cries before Thyiad made her post. Yes ankeli was insensitive, some people just ignore it but others take it personal.

Why should Ankeli be modkilled for his comment? I'm sure Leo wouldn't have reacted the way Thyiad did, would you still call for Ankeli to be modkilled then?
