Yeahh, I'm definately going to ignore all posts about those stats and everything because we've now wasted about 36 hours not finding anything relevant. The confusion only helps the mafia.
How is the current discussion going to establish anyone as townies? Anyone can get they're guess about the setup. And you trying to insinuate that people discussing, as you are, are townies isn't working for either.

On the contrary, the past 24 hours have been a wealth of information for all involved. I've been able to deduce a lot by people's speculations of roles, and the numbers people have been posting are telling as well.
You however, have not been posting much at all. In fact, you are one of the people I called out. Your second post in almost two days, and it's basically saying you are going to ignore the game mechanics that are going to make the town stronger. You even go on to give a baseless vote to someone who has actually been contributing to the discussion. Three strikes pal.

Bottom line was that if everyone performs as expected, and we lynch at a decent ratio (say, 1/3 lynches is mafia) we won't run into any problems. I don't see why the game mechanics that albeit fun and interesting would play any major part in our success.

Did it got you any closer to finding any mafia? Nope, all you did was give them more information on the town roles that we have.
Says it all, just play mafia the normal way and focus on finding the baddies. When you start drifting away from scumhunting and start focussing on the game mechanics you fall behind and you get stuck in a vicious circle of reinforcing the statistics that need reinforcing because you've been slacking on finding mafia.
Also, I think it's time to start pondering who is possibly scum and who is not.
I'm 90% Confident Technomancer is pro-town.
I'm 60% Confident Gorny is pro-town.
I'm 50/50 on Zhao_Yue being scum, for now.

it's not pie, but it'll do.![]()
Howcome? I don't really see losing an engineer who can repair stuff as a big loss as opposed to someone else, say a doctor. Of course it could've been a vanilla townie, or in the best case scenario another anti-town faction member (if there is such a thing) but I'm completely fine with losing an engineer over a cop or a doc.
I am suspicious of the two votes that have been made already.
I don't really want to vote right now, I'd rather wait until we've have more votes and secure a lynch.
welcome!!
yeah, i was thinking defense for scouts and town, ya know? like, maybe mini-vigis.
lol. mini-vigis.
im guessing so... if only seven can fit in one house.
lol, read that in Archer's voice. DUH!
:rolf:
i thought it was funny.
not gonna lie.... i kinda did to. :embarassed: im sort of on a time crunch this evening.
please, if anyone else can point out where it hints or blatantly says Uraj = Engineer, free honey for everyone.
[OT] DUDE! like, no joke, that happened at our D&D game time before last. got on two of our players and this past round (this past Sunday) they died from it (they left the group so DM killed them in the story). [/OT]
lol! you better!
seconded.
seems like i was right about soldiers. i HIGHLY doubt, in a game this big and where we have zombie-NPCs AND mafia members attacking us that there is ONE scout. TC is mean, but pretty sure he's not THAT damn mean.... then again....
seems like Scientists and Engineers are like BFFs - scientists do the research and give it to the engineer to put together. im not making a lover connection here, but just making an observation right now. Scientists seem like they might be able to make more food too. maybe clone it? Engineers seem like builders and... what is this? repair vehicles? oooh, do we get awesome rides like this?![]()

I rarely agree with Sathoris, but I 100% do now, and I'm swearing by Hippocrates that we're not connected in anyway. Take what you will of it, but should either of us go down due to us wanting to find mafia (lol) I'm going to point and laugh at every townie in those lynch parties.

Erm, no. I only knew a little about another role but now I know enough about every role because it's been thrown around here every so often. if anything you've ruined that opportunity.
The answer to your question is either:
A. It takes one to know one.
B. I'm sneaky trying to trick players into posting more on Day 1.
C. I'm even sneakier and have managed to let others know about ME rather than learning things about others.
But I'm curious why you think I'm insinuating that players participating in discussions are townies. I'm not even sure which discussion you are referring to, let alone which players you think I think are participating.
If you know enough about every role, then I'd say the town is well on the way to victory. I fail to see how that is a bad thing for the town (easy to see why it would be bad for mafia). Can you explain why it would be?
What factions do we have? Town (survivors) and Mafia (Zombie Horde)?
How can the zombie horde be the SK if the zombie horde was stated (by TC) to be an NPC??
Ankeli, if I'm reading you correctly, I urge you not to role claim this early.
