Wolf Barb (again)

Well well it seems the wolf barb isnt so underpowered as I thought it would be. I've succesfully solo'd Baal a few times now. However I still need more damage I think if Im gonna do Ubers one of these days.

Im wearing the following:
WolfHowl 5/4/6
Last Wish Phase Blade
COH
Ik Gloves
IK Belt
IK boots
(synergy causes +25 IAS, +25 MF, +100 AR) I think

BO MAXED
BS Half
BC 5 points or so

Sword Mastery MAXED
Natural Resistance 10 points
Stone Skin 10 points

with all that and my low barb torch it maxes out resistance + more.

I mean the guy just eats everything even physical immunes. So my question is what else do I need? A grief? a phoenix? maybe ditch the set items?
 
Wow, you must swing pretty slow with that last wish. You might want to consider having a greifpb for some quicker swinging and extra dmg imo. You can swing the Last Wish to get the boss's life down far, then swap to the greif to pump out the dmg for a quicker kill. I guess you could also try a BoTD pb, but i dont think the dmg would be as good as a Greif pb.

I've always liked 4Shael Griswold Caducei as WolfBarb weapons, the speed is great - particularly when coupled with off-weapon mods like CB/DS.

I would definitely try to switch out that weapon and look for something based on speed rather than on damage - you won't be dealing particularly large amounts of rawr physical damage no matter what you do (unless you use a Grief PB, but even that is slow-ish). But if you couple a 4fps weapon (4Shael Griswold) with CB, you can work around it quite nicely.
 
Well since he has already maxed out the sword mastery, the grief pb is going to be his best bet, unless lol, he gets a crazy fast high ed rare... I would have said the caddy, my personal fav, but i didnt want to lead him to thinking he needs to rebuild.

That LW is swinging at 10 frames (up from 11 frames with the 25 OIAS from IK gloves). A little slow for my liking, wolves are meant to be fast.

Another nice choice with a Sword Mastery Wolfbarb is a Shael'd Azurewrath. 1 frame faster than GriefPB and with funky magic/cold damage for some easy PI killing. And it'll probably do more DPS than Last Wish too.
 
Heck, to be honest, I'd probably prefer an Upgraded Crainte Vomir to a Last Wish on a wolfbarb. There are some builds who like Last Wish, but shifters are not among them.
 
I 2nd Crainte Vomir Legend Sword cos i have tested it both on wolf and bear barbs and for the price the speed, mods (%dr,slows target,fast r/w) are awesome :P I also suggest u test stuff like shael Horizon's Tornado and Gris Caddy
 
Several reasons why the eth rib is doing bad for you lol:

1) You have all sword mastery, where as the rib i do believe is mace classified? if at all lol

2) Have you up'd it and zod'd it yet? IMO a eth rib doesnt shine til its up'd and zod'd

3) Your a wolfbaba, really, imo, two hand weapons just are not going to do THAT well for you where as your fury/rabie/fc/etc druid brothers can excell with them.

I thought about mentioning the shea'd Azure to him, but since it does seem like he had too terribly much crushing blow anywhere, i thought it better for him to at least have the Last Wish for a switch boss draining weapon. I will say though that i havent heard that ive steered anyone wrong with a sheal'd Azure, and man they hit a darn nice speed with juicy VERY valubale pvm mods (dmg for PI's, Sanc aura is a blast in the chaos sanc).
