Wizardspike: alternative stats?

I made 2 "wizzy 4 pul" games on East NL. 3 persons joined, their reactions ranged from "don't you have a better one?" to "I've got a better one..." to just S&E after seeing mine.

To my knowledge, all wizzys share the same stats... I double checked mine and the one described at Arreat Summit, yielding no mismatch at all.

Is there an "older version" or "bugged version" for wizzys on East NL? Even if there was, it would be stupid of them to expect that of mine, since I didn't mention any anomalies in the game name.

And if they were expecting sockets/socketed rune or jewel, it would be news to me... since when people trade socketed stuff without mentioning it?

Am I missing something?

Wizardspike (Bone Knife) - 95% res all in 1.07.

I doubt that many people know that. I guess they just said it to get it for a lower price and to be honest, I don't think it's worth more than 3-5 pgems.

A Wizzy socketed with some nice jewel would obviously be worth more. For instance a 15 res all/7 FHR jewel or a rare res/dex/str/life/FHR/whatever jewel would make the price higher. But for a plain one I agree with Krischan, not worth more than a few pgems...

on east NL wizspikes should go for pul, but they are way, way too common. one of the best items in the game IMO but you pretty much find one every super healing pot ahah. well not that often, but ya know.

that being said, pul is a pretty standard price for east NL though it might take a while to trade it because most people have one. problem with east NL also is that there isn't much between some pgems and a hr, and pul clocks at .5. so if you're having trouble getting a pul, you might want to try for pgems, p-ams or rals.

on WestNL, "wizzy" means filthy hacked wizardspike gloves or armour.

BTW, what's a Pul good for on NL ? You can't cube them up and they should easily cover HotO needs, for example, except people are rerolling them like Spirit shields on NL. With that in mind, Pul might indeed be the proper price.
