Wisp Projector Charges

Hey guys!

I have a Fishymancer (max RS/SM), lvl 78 Act I Hell. I'm wearing a Wisp Projector Ring and I'm not sure what spirit I should use.
The stats:
Heart of Wolverine: Damage+48%/Attack+53%
Spirit of Barbs: 170% Damage Returned
Oak Sage: Life+35%
So the obvious question: What spirit should I use?
Thanks in advance!

Sage would be a no. Your skellies are dispensable. Enhance their usefulness with HoW instead

Barb would be a no too, seeing as your primary curse aligns to dealing physical damage. Same reason you shouldn't choose Iron maiden as a primary curse

HoW- these spirits provides more benefits since it works by percentages. The higher the base, the higher it boosts
So the idea is to strengthen the strengths with percentage skills. Not to make up for weaknesses

I would rather get a necro with Amp damage, fanat, might, concent aura, and HoW that keeps on dying due to lack of protection
rather than a necro with Lower Resist, Conviction, Vigor, Redemption and Barb
wouldn't you agree?

maybe the question should have been, which spirit should I use in certain areas? :D
seeing as you can easily switch from one spirit to another
maybe you need a number cruncher here, who knows which areas have certain monsters that will be affected by each spirit the most

oh and take into consideration the volume of each side

if there are significantly more monsters than your zoo, then the Barb might be more benefitial since it is an area affecting skill
(1 skelly vs 3 frenzytaurs calls for a barb, as the skelly can only hit one of the 3 frenzytaurs. But 3 frenzytaurs can hit 1 skelly simultaneously)

if your force outnumbers the mob, then HoW definitely
(3 skellys vs 1 frenzytaur in this case. 3 HoW'd skellies hits 1 frenzytaur, but frenzytaur can only hit 1 of the non OS'd or SoB'd skellies)

take into account your Corpse Explosion though. It might change Spirit usage when it comes to killing speed

None of the spirits are really useful. Even the HoW doesn't do that much since its %ED is dwarfed by your might merc.

Yes, because it stacks it is not so important.

A might merc already gives ~200%ED, so with HoW you get ~248%ED. Yes, it helps, but it is not exactly mind blowing. There's a pet calculator where you can put the numbers in if you must.

did you mean "Yes, because it DOES NOT stacks it is not so important"?

No he meant it exactly the way he says there. Since all the %ED stacks you won't notice a big increase in damage going from 350% to 400%. On paper it looks like a 50% boost giving 1.5 times the damage, but the actual gain is not that high.
