Actually, at ~level 90, you only need one Um thrown in somewhere. Id prefer it in the Helm (Gaze). Like said, you can then socket the armor however you want.
I still can't bring myself to use a Defiance Merc. Its Might for melee, and Prayer for Casters. I'd rather have the constant regen then a lower chance to be hit. But that's me.
I can maybe see it for a Windy, since you can pop a Vine out for regen, no need for Might much, no need for HF with Hurr, Thorns = lol, BA = why, but even then, I don't know.
*Side note, I think I wanna make a Windy now.....
