What's the point of eth Titan's?

I was reading earlier that when using LF (the skill that I'm personally concerned about with my new zon), the damage on the javelin is not important; it's the +skills that matter. So, why do all these javazons want an ethereal Titan's so bad? Am I missing something?

1. Eth items are transparent so they look sexy.
2. Eth titans would never run out due to its self-repairing mod.

More damage for Fury, I'm guessing? Lower requirements. Fury is half physical damage, right?

As far as I know Lightning Fury is all lightning damage aside from the mediocre regular throwing physical damage you do. Lightning Bolt however transfers physical damage into lightning damage.

it does help bring up your physical damage, whether cs or fury. but mostly for style points and bragging rights.

Leech. When you use Lightning Fury, your physical javelin itself becomes autohit, which means every time you hit a monster with LF you're dealing full physical damage. 50% more physical damage means 50% more life/mana leeched back with each throw. It also makes quicker work of LIs if you use Lightning Fury or Jab to dispatch them (and yes, I did just recommend killing LIs with Lightning Fury- like I said, it makes your physical javelin autohit, which means LF is better than simply throwing your javelin, assuming you have the mana to support it).

Personally, I'd rather have a non-Eth Titans, just because then I could repair it if I didn't want to sit around and wait for the stash to replenish. If I had a second set of sexy javs, though, then I'd go with Eth titans and just switch to my second javs while Titans replenished.

back in 09, we used to carry around 3 sets of titans
1 on main, 1 on switch and 1 in cube
we never had to worry about running out

Eth titans are pvm imo. Just so happens that people want style in PvP as well.

Eth titan's benefits are increased physical damage which is both more leechable and helps with LI monsters.

Bigger Physical damage for more overall damage, and easier LI killing. Jab is more of a powerhouse with eth Titans.

Waiting for them to regen sucks, but it's 1 every 3 seconds, so it's not so bad.

As SSoG stated, more physical damage means more leech. This helps keep your mana in check when throwing a flurry of LF around the screen, you get more bang for your buck from your Mana Leech.
